    don't worry about the neg comments mate you can't please everyone, lovely place to hold a show, pity the two of you clashed but you can't help that now this year but next you can sort it. You will draw crowds to that show next year keep at it. I for one enjoyed my day an nice to see a worker!

    Remember at the white cross one year catching a tan it was so hot, next year fine when we got there a nearly getting snowed in!! Mad place.

    I think That's machen show All I seem to remember is a old moldy tent that you cant even get a cup of tea in without drying the leaves yourself. The trouble is............. I'll probably end up going for a look then being gutted I payed the entrance. I certainly wont take the kids not the sort of show I want them to think is a show if you get my drift. I'm not big on the showing scene but have be to a few different ones here and over the border, I have be made to feel more welcome there , the facilities have been pretty poor the last couple of years. lets hope for better Goat

    a good friend of mine who has worked a bred terriers for 30years who has never charged for a mating or a pup or made any money from dogs was pissed off when a so called friend that picked up a 14month old unentered dog of him. On the way home this young dog mated a related bitch and was told if any pups came they were to be culled!! 3 years later my mate is still hearing where these pups are. There was 10 pups and they were all choc in colour some are in Finland, some are in wales and some are in kent. Been told of the sums of money that changed hands to which has really stuck the knife in. Th

    yea they were and they were [BANNED TEXT] they called snake gun,double barrelled under an over with short barrels. Too short for dispatching a animal in a dig. Imported from the states.the barrels are so sort you cant shoot anything from 1foot because of the spread. Saw another 410 pistol tho that was a old fashioned horse slaughtering gun the barrel was about 12 inches long. This was a very efficient gun when the dog was lifted but didn't like it if the dog was fast to the quarry would rather the 22 then.

    most failed proper bred digging dogs or bitches are hard on foxes, fox bullies I call them. this is just a v.poor excause for these old timers to breed from a animal that just is not good enough

    the dog was passed about a bit in south wales 3 different homes before a lad in merthyr had him entered him an worked him, cant remeber for how long but the dog made a proper digging dog. taff you are correct he did spend sum time in mid wales.
