Ok guys and gals had a bit of a disaster on wed night with a fire. Unfortunately i lost a few sheds containing my incubators and hatchers and a whole host of tools and pretty much everything you collect over the years. Now the worst bit was i never had any insurance for the business sheds so i was wondering if there any of you good people would know of any grants or useful numbers that that might be able to get me up and rolling again? Any info' will be much appreciated Cheers

It always makes me laugh how gullible the public are to this sport..... Who makes for a more dangerous opponent for Calzaghe,a fresh hungry Carl Froch,a fight that would have got Calzaghe about 30 quid......or a washed up Roy Jones who got him millions !.. Who was a more dangerous opponent for Hatton,a fresh hungry Junior Witter for peanuts....or a few million for fighting a washed up Castillo..... And they say fighters are thick ! Kind of answered your own question there mate..............why indeed would the likes of Hatton or Calzaghe take on low budget fights when they can rak

I got a phone call from them, said it would take 45mins on the phone. I declined funny enough. They sent it by e-mail but its still a massive piece of paperwork. Not sure if its a benefit or not so am not filling it in.

Costing for DIY pheasant shoot
Lab replied to david1976's topic in Driven, Walked Up, Rough Shooting
"Pull in your neighbours birds" :wallbash:, never mind that mate its completely daft! The last thing you want to do is fall out with neighbouring shoots, you never know you might need to dog birds back in from near there ground so a good relationship with others is paramount. Basically the others have covered the costs pretty well and you wont go far wrong with there advice -
That would have been good if it was real ....take it it was the "WWF" version

Wouldn't dream of feeding my dogs 1 of those dirty stinking disease ridden animals. I like to think of my dogs as workers and after a hard days graft deserve the best grub possible.

If your selling your camper van Shadow will buy it!! Tell him its a 50 footer and you want 100k.

We can only hope you bought it of a "Dr Who" and its his "Tardis" range

Looks fit as a fiddle to me bud! Got the same problem with my lab', sometimes during the season i think that he is looking thin but his pace, stamina and jumping abilities all seem to prove me wrong. I tried a few times to feed him before i worked him but he just wouldn't work 100% so he obviously cant graft on a full stomach. I just had to put it down to the build of him, you can see every muscle in his body. Anybody thats got anything too say soon shuts up when they see him work.

This could have been a whole lot worst mate.................................... Could have been my feckin flight.

where does it say 'i read it' have faith mate, if not why dont all 25,000 membes on thl walk down downing street, dogs an all, few slips outside browns door. I LOST FAITH 5 YEARS AGO MATE WHEN 300.000 PLUS WENT WALKABOUT IN LONDON, THE ONLY THING THAT GOT BANED WAS HARE COURSING that was five yrs ago. labour. new people in charge= new policies. the way to go is regstered clubs. as i recall its the posh fox hunting that causes the problem, cruelty, wheres the sport n 50 dogs killing one fox? single dog yes, the beagles rip them to pieces and if the sly fox gets away they dig him outta

Got 2 (dogs)that are 6 months at the end of this month too mate, great fun and annoying all rolled into 1? They are coming on well the both of them and maybe i've been lucky but they are retrieving pretty well, could be the competition in the both of them? I wouldn't worry too much anyway as she is still pretty young. Sounds like you have got the basics wrapped up and that is key. My auld grandad used to say "let a pup be a pup until a year" and i cant think of a bad dog that he had. Plenty time mate!

Well you defo' sound like 1 . You speak exactly how they would....this idea of 50 hounds chasing a fox to the point of exhaustion or putting it to ground before it is "ripped to pieces" Have you ever been to a fox hunt...? I've been to many and only once have i ever seen the fox being chased, its usually the fox following the hounds. Can't keep going over the same stuff on here about people sticking together, this pish about ban this because it doesn't suit me gets right on my tits. Well said bud. Ive tried to hammer the message home till im blue in the face, but at the end of the

Theres alot of diff' factors mate......number of birds put down, is there going to be a keeper on the place or are the syndicate all chipping in, how much is the rent..? You would be better telling us some facts and what you have to pay mate and we might be able to see if your on too a winner.
-
Go for the lab' mate and you wont be dissapointed. Get a young dog and put in the training time and it will do all your after. Dont know much of the munsterlander(not sure if that is correct), i know a guy who has 1 and its a good strong looking dog but its a bit aggresive in the picking up( snatching from other dogs) I'm not saying that is a trait to that breed its just thats the 1 i know.
