I have a BSA Lightning XL .22 for sale. It has a 6x40 telescopic scope & Fleece lined padded shoulder bag. Lovely condition. I bought it off this about site 6 months since for £190 with the intention of getting into the sport but work commitments have dictated otherwise. A real shame to be getting rid of it as its something that i want to get into but i just dont have the time. I will put some pictures on shortly. I am open to sensible offers. I want roughly what i paid for it. On the day I got it I bought a tin of pellets and have probably not even used up half of them. I live in Notting

I have a BSA Lightning XL which is 2 years old. Was wondering if it was time to upgrade the spring thats in at the mo with a Theoben Gas Strut Conversion or with a V-Mach tuning kit. I will be using the gun for shooting rabbits mainly. Not actually used it for anything but targets at the mo. Just recently bought the gun second hand. I also have a Hawke 3-9x40 scope on at the mo and was also wondering whether i should put maybe a 3-9x50 scope on it, but will this actually gain me much? i am finding that when i zoom in on targets at about 30 yards although you can see the target the image is not

I have recently purchased a BSA Lightning XL from someone on this site. When my gun comes, how do i test how powerfull it is? i know i could go buy a cronograph but is there any other method i could use for seeing how powerfull it is. I have been told that the gun is only two years old so i am not to worried about it been low on power but this is my first gun so dont have any experiences to compare it with. I would like to think that it shooting close to the limit but how do i tell or am i worrying about nothing? Anyones views would be much appreciated. This is my first real post and i am not
