thanks for the coments lads but my dad used to work ferrets on lines before locators came out i am gonna give it a try on a very small warren which is only about 8 holes only £50 shy of a new mk3

hi just wondering if anyone has any tips for ferreting with out a locator like putting the ferrets on lines thanks

hi you could either use P.V.A bags or P.V.a mesh or if your fishing at long range you could use a spod but if you want to lanch out boiles use a throwing stick hope this helps

i have only had 1 run in with antis i was shooting at the time at my local permisson i was walking across the field when i sore 2 women up at a window i ignored them so they would ignore me then about 5 mins later i was in a bush in full camo gear and a police car pulled right up next to me er we go me thinks but luckely enought the bobby that got out the car to talk to me had be a ferreter/shooter since he was 6 so me and him had a little convo he asked for a go of my gun and bagged to bunnies so after this he went up to the people that complained and told them to mined theier own buissn

i always use Ely Wasp

hi if it was me i would use the source on the bottom and feed lose particals but dont over feed becuase in the winter to much feed can put them off

i used to have this problem with my hob so i boiled the hutch out and with the ticks on the BODY not near the ears i would put cooking oil on them after 5 mins they would just fall off and the i would hit the tick with a hammer to make sure it was dead..
