    Re. the comments on NOBS. I was a member for over two years and didn't get a single days beating out of them - not even on mid-week shoots when numbers of available beaters may be less. Rumour I heard was that most of the beating was kept for a select few....which could explain the drop in membership. My advice to anybody looking for beating would be to ring around local shoot captains/gamekeepers and offer your service. Keep your money for a beer afterwards!

    As I wasn't skint for once I bought a new tandem kayak. My 9 year old daughter loves fishing so I wanted something big enough for the two of us. I bought the malibu xl angler from mainwarings who did a great deal for us In total, with all extras I spent about £800 :sick: There does seem to be some pretty reasonable one man kayaks about going from £300-£500 with lots of gadgets added! There is a kayak fishing competition on Saturday at Oxwich.....not entering but will be there trying for bass.

    Bought a angling kayak and gave it a run out on Gower today! 2 hours later 12 mackerel were in the bag ready for the bbq and the freezer Looking forward to trying the Bass on Saturday now

    I have two jack russells that I use for beating and ratting the release pens at the end of the season. My long legged terrier will cover very thick ground and has even retrieved before. As you would expect....they are not always steady to game and they have taken quite a few birds out!! However, very versatile dogs and great fun mate

    Went out in the day to look for signs etc. Land owner told me that he has hardly seen any for a couple of years Bit gutted as I wanted to start my terriers bushing rabbits....although I'm not complaining too much as there are plenty of rtas

    Just got my first permission in my local area, lots of rats but sadly no rabbits to be seen Is the area that poorly populated with rabbits or is it just my bad luck? Regards,

    Forgot to add....if anybody in Wales or reasonable distance has lurchers they use for rabbits / bushing, would anybody let me join them for a day to see terriers working with lurchers?

    It's a scandal mate I'm taking my young daughter...with tickets and travelling.. and beer I will not have change from £250. But would I miss it ?? It's the supporters loyalty the Wembley LTD officials rely on mate. They know we will pay up!

    Hi, I have a great bushing / ratting terrier and I'm tempted to get a lurcher. Only problem is that I have no room for a kennel so the dog would have to live inside with my terrier. I've heard the term 'small lurcher' which sounds good. Would that be a cross such as a beddy whippet or a 'poachers pocket' that I have read about? Cheers

    I forgot to add " no tossers or self opinionated cnuts as well" If I have lots of pups advertised on here, then you might have comment to make, if I've given the rest of the litter away and have one left, do you think I'm going to give it away to a messer on here, or do you think that someone genuine might pm me and ask questions first, then discuss a price ?? if I put it up for £50 then every wanker woud be asking, how's it bread etc etc etc !! so again, genuine enquiries, pm me !! and ps I'm in the game because I enjoy it, and if a pup pays some of my bills, then so be it !
