    I will leave the easy ones for you dave , you will need the practice, i will call you can shoot The top picture is that rascal at roslin, that kept giving me the slip, well he didnt do it this time, i was sneakier than him, he was in the field on the right that looks down to the glen, could make him out a long way off as the silage was freshly cut !!! i knew if i called him he would turn and head straight for the wooded glen,So i fired a shot over the top of him, knowing there would be a loud crack echoing back from the glen, i was hoping he would run up towards me after getting a fright..

    How do you know it was good shoting mate, it might have been 5ft away? Good looking charlie that top one, vixen or dog? NO ARGUING LADS.... its a dog Fox and as someone has pointed out, it doesnt matter how far away it was, as he says it was good shooting as it is now DEAD. Shot at 170yds verified by range finder (top one) shot at 65 yds (bottom one)

    I think its around the 107 mark to date, numbers will rise from now on, silage being cut and harvest just around the corner... Keep your eyes on the stubble fields, will be plenty of foxes in there, due to the amount of mice, voles, rats etc: feeding on all the seed left behind after cutting, foxes know there is plenty grub to be had in the stubble.     Get yourself a 22 rimefire for the bunnies, and a good starter for the foxes is a 22/250, remember and also request moderators for both, shouldnt be any problems, as long as you have someone to say you will be shooting these rifles on there ground. ATB. Jimmy

    Bet you its the deisel lift pump, where deisel filter fits onto it.... take this off and blast with air or water , and refit. if you have been running Bio deisel will be your desel pump seals,.....NOT GOOD

    Nice shooting Sir... Not legal quarry here in the U.K. if they were i could shoot loads on a night time, they are all over the place, but the laws the law, so i stick to the Foxes and leave the Badgers well alone.

    Here for sale i have a GENUINE set of Sako scope mounts , steel type not the cheap alloy ones.... They are for Sako Rifles only, has locator pin on rear mount, they are Stamped SAKO Finland with a 26mm stamp on the underside. These are like Hens teeth very very very hard to source in 26mm, for use with all 26mm tube size scopes, Schmidt & Bender...Zeiss...Docter...Kahles etc. 1st to offer £55 gets them, i will then post first class recorded mail, 1st come 1st served so P.M. me if you want them. One on the left is the front, one onthe right is the rear with the dove tail
