  1. Shit doo that mate hope the gimps don't get your dogs! I had a similar thing with some Irish traveling lads they see me walking them they pulled me up asking about them what there are at An if I wanted to sell them I told them straight away there shit ones ligament damaged an the others a known jacker just to put them off I said I wouldn't sell them as there loved pets An no good for breeding out of as there both done...it didn't put them off the following day I was followed by them in a different vehicle I was on to them straight away so I took them on a little detour through all the local al
  2. I'm going to say my collie/grey x whippet/grey with a small drop of deerhound blood she's done real well for me over the seasons day An night no world beater but a real honest bitch she's always tryed her hardest for me and been a pretty bomb proof bitch were injuries are concerned her luck ran out Friday night sadly she'll be visiting the greyhound man shortly but I've a feeling she'll be retired to the sofa
  3. I'd go for a grew if the land was all nice grazing land taller than a whippet smaller than a greyhound or a half x bedlington greyhound or a racey mix of all of them
  4. From what I can see online they charge £3-400 a pup.an the well off horsey type with bit of land pay it to have one hanging around the stable yard or trotting behind their horse.used to be Jack Russell's year's ago now it's a scruffy type lurcher. crazy dollar ain't it mate I thought about one, there was litter advertised other side of Abergavenny, they were pet homes only ,thought about fibbing to get one but not only were they top dollar they were not the first litter they had advertised before when googling the number,in the end I bought a labradoodle for £100 cheaper. (Though it's bloody u

  6. Keep your friends close An your enemies closer
  7. Depends how young a dog ya talking I guess
  8. good luck in finding one mate. a good place to ask is the admin on the working bedlington group on fb very good group the admin are second to none there also point you in the right direction of planned litters that will all be out of gear actually worked saving your self getting screwed over by peddling scum bags as the bedlington x whippet is becoming fast the peddlers pocket money dog
  9. Mentally not ready mate you'd be far better off letting her watch other dogs for a bit without running her double up as she don't know what's expected of her. You could continue with retrieve training but I'm guessing as your trying to enter her she's already mastered that time An patience is the key fella some take longer than others so there's no need to rush
  10. depends if you mind a dig or not think I'm to lazy to be digging to terriers that have a death wish on pigs I don't think I'd like to have to explain when I'm pulled up on the hot land I'm over why I'm tampering with a pig set I like to keep moving forward An not be in the facility to long if you get my drift
  11. If I was in the maket for a bushing dog I'd choose a spaniel over a strate terrier any day who wants a high strung yappey terrier that has the potential to drop to ground on pigs anyway as a bushing dog sounds like hard work with terriers
  12. Definitely a good buy.brilliant batteries

  18. yes mate still off fb I'll be back on for abit the beginning of next month but don't know for how long
  19. by selective breeding mate as I've already said your probably better off googleing it An doing a bit of home work on the subject as we're going to be on the same roundabout for days I wouldn't kid your self thinking you can take any old dog An train it to do the job in hand or all experienced working dog lads would be producing world beater after world beater every dog they've had. Back on to the subject of you looking for a bull x pup there's loads out there the bull x as got to be the most common cross at the minute if it's as easy to get a well bred one as you think just look of bum tree or
  20. My big bitch(your pups mum) was out watching other dogs run the beam from 9 1/2 months old I didn't let her run till 11month it was on a rabbit that was sat tight far out in the field the opportunity was there so she ran it I remember it like it was yesterday the rabbit showed her how inexperienced she was it nearly made it home An dry as the rabbit hit the hedge line so did the bitch making contact with the rabbit her first catch it was the best feeling ever I can't wait to get your pups sister entered I'll be getting her pining in the nets hopefully near the end of the season possibly
  21. I'm guessing working lines were selective bred An worked to the job they excelled at and needed for then in come the breed standard later on most dogs were bred for the purpose not like today were the main objective is money
