I for one minute personally don't buy in to all this colour bollox of a lamp dog makes a difference I do humer people who say otherwise though I did laugh it off with a simple ok reply. I only put it on here to see what the hunting life community had to say on the matter and to sort the wheat from the chaff

What's your views on white or near white lamp dogs I've recently had a litter of pups out my bitch In the litter is 4 mainly white brindle/black patched pups I've had a few people pm me saying that there'd be no good as lamp dogs I've asked how they could tell at a young age that they'd not make good lamp dogs the answer I get is because there mainly white....someone educate me here what I'm missing?

I don't use no supplements mine just get a good mixed raw diet plus any table scraps

My bitch as just had a litter The dams a collie/greyhound x whippet/greyhound with a small bit of deerhound in there way back in her breeding The sire is a bedlington x greyhound There should be a few dog pups available

I still prefer separate lithium battery packs I've been out with a few that use all one lamp/batteries but they don't last for good nights lamping suppose there ok if you carry spare batteries

definitely plenty of characters about ive seen the likes of characters before mate there get sorted a pup make a bullshit excuses An have it up on Preloved or bum tree or one of the fb dog peddling groups a week later trying to turn a profit..I don't suffer fools I'm wise to there crack I'll sort my self and the few people I'm gifting to at the cost of the micro chip and wormers to 8week then the rest sold at the going rate to cover my cost of rearing An gifting there be no profit to be made. The dogs for me as never been for financial gain the day it is will be the day I pack in running dogs

Right I've had a silly number of pms off people trying there luck of trying to get a free or next to free pup like I said this was a offer I made to saltmoon only! So no more pms trying to get a free pup please because it's not happening!

Only ever dog I've seen with back dew claws was a heavely collie bred lurcher I've only ever seen that once. I'm a firm believer in dew claws being removed on running dogs as they surve no perpose to a running dog especially one that works.i personally think it shows what these people putting litters on the ground that don't remove actually know about running dogs leaving them on a pup it also shows that there not willing to spend £4 at a vet getting them removed that also speaks volumes on the no expense spared ads that get put up all over the place

I remember when I used to read the story tellers weekly (cmw) I read some dribble on the lines of it was how they (the tumbler)took there quarry they go in to a barrel roll....biggest load of shit I'd ever read just a drum roll to get pups shifted

I can live with a little mixi but vhd as hit toward the end of the hunting season down my way it was like Barron land hard pushed to get enough runs on rabbits for my bitch I stopped a month earlier than normal but even now I've only seen a few young rabbits about no were near normal numbers I've a feeling going to be snooping about for new land to get on this coming season

I'd take a punt on a Hancock bred dog if it was the cross I was after there no different from any other running dog there's still the same amount of chance 50/50 weather there'd be any good or not its all a short straws game the only bit that don't sit well for me is putting silly money in a peddling c*nts hands
