    the pup was on offer and i had money in my pocket. i went to see it and it lookd strong, healthy, and well reared. doesnt matter if i cant find out whos stuff its from. i just wanted to try and glean a little more info than what i have. Will be able to start taking him out next sunday. worming with panacur, and got it on meat n wetted red mills.

    cloak and dagger type deal mate. bargain of a price. im sure that if who ever bred this pup is on here they will realise its one of their breeding. got it second hand so to speak so saw nothing. just wanted to find out a little about the pup now as it will be far harder in future.

    picked up a dog pup from liverpool on the friday just gone. just over 8 wks old anybody know anything about who bred it? smooth black pup, didnt get much info on it apart from worker to worker, mention of nuttal lines. had its first jab pm if preferred

    ye big like him and bigger. are the so called micro ferrets all the same size or is there no difference between the sexes? what about these polecats how do they compare in size?

    when i was a kid all the hobs we ever had where massive. like cats as i remember it got one now slightly smaller than my gills. what size are everyone elses hobs. my gills aint small but heres mine hob right

    what age did you get them an how old are they. if they are this years they realy should be soft as by now. dont give up just handle them as much as posible. pick em u; put em down feed em out ya hand any contact is good. i just start handling them as kits until they understand ur not food and stop holding when they bite. then just give em to the kids to do the rest. bomb proof. litle gil in pic just a local kid wat comes to play wi ferts n walk dogs round.

    all sorted with rspca. with some helpful advice from SHG. basically i told them the could not see my animals nor could they enter my property. the complaint was that the dogs had no shelter or water, both untrue but due to the fact that the dogs live indoors and there was no dogs present any time rspca visited so there was no validity to the complaint. they still wanted to see my dogs, but i told them that the complaint was made in respect of living conditions, so seeing the dogs was not justified. i offered to get qualified vet to check over all my animals and living conditions, then send the

    i couldnt find the post about your rights when dealing with the rspca, but the one i had read a while ago was very informative. its not hunting related. the guy on the phone was probing at y i had ferrets n lurchers though. i told him he wouldnt be coming in my house or seeing my dogs, but i didnt know if maybe sending them packing would make them more eager to try and give me trouble. or should i just show my dogs on front step and be done with it.

    neighbour has made a complaint that dogs are left out in rain no food water shelter etc. says the garden is dangerous and that i have ferrets an chickens also. thats the complaint. inspector left some cards spoke to him today. there where no dogs in the garden either time he visited. there is a shed with pop hole cushons an heater out there. but dogs live in kitchen anyway. he wants to see dogs. ive got no problem with that as they are all in great condition, however reading variouse post i am dubious of having any dealings atall with them

    the comparison between halal meat and the hunting ban is flawed. i agree to a point, that, each to their own and some may consider hunting with dogs as distasteful as halal slaughter, but this is England we are not a muslim country. we do not practice this slaughter method.

    yes it would be easy to make a sliding tray but i have a trio of painted quail that might make sliding a tray in and out difficult. anybody want to share some pics of their diy aviarys

    more panels needed it is then. how much perch space is recommended per bird? and does an outdoor aviary need to have a heated sleeping box. only ever kept birds in cages up until now so unsure on exact criteria for keeping birds out all year
