  2. I agree - into the water. I just forgot to say so!
  3. roebuck220 offers good advice. Personally I would feed slightly more and I would divide the feed into two offerings - AM and PM. Young ducks have a tendency to wander and two smaller feeds helps to keep them close. Leave them wanting more! Think about how you feed too - especially of you have problems with gulls. I tend to feed densely until the birds are bigger when I spread it more. If you have suddenly lost a lot of your charges look around nearby and when you find them gently walk them back to the water - it can be done.
  4. Isn't the aim of a rag decoy to add numbers in among full bodied decoys? I've seen videos of them used in the US in among 200+ full bodied decoys with the main aim of adding movement into the mix. If you are just using a small number of full bodied decoys then they have to be REALLY convincing to entice geese in. I can't see rag decoys having much success used on their own. But someone else might know differently......
