    we had elk hounds and alaskan malamute here for years. they do have a high prey drive. out of the two the elk hound was best. he would pick a sent or a line and stay with it. when he found game he would keep it busy till you got there. the only problem with them is that they do like to wander. atb,bib.

    .this is in an old wood but the a carp lake neer it an that got pike in .ant a clue how it wuld of got it . more than likey some fisherman caught it and left on the bank and forgot it.maybe. or it just died and washed up on shore. what ever happened they had a good feed. atb with the young dog he looks in great shape for the comeing season. atb, bib.

    ok lads. my young lad got two lurcher pups today. the sire is a collie x greyhound/ and dam is a saulki x greyhound. he just wanted to know did anybody on here work this type of cross before and what were they like to go. atb. bib.

    Cheers, I think he'll turn out well I know, I didn't ask after the exact cause. I presume he was in with his brother who I suspect may have had something to do with that. On his run, one ewe got a horn snagged in some wire and he was on her like a flash, didn't like that. Either way, we've had dogs in the past that have come from real bad homes, abused, taunted etc. and once settled in here they all turned out good working sheep dogs atb with him john. he looks like he will make a good one. you need a good strong dog for the hills and mountians around here. atb. bib.

    Not to sure, i would think it would be simple, when the rifle has the same calibre to. to change the subject i have a marlin too what to you think of them. hello kevmag. i find the marlin a good enough rifle but sense rabbits and magpies is my main quarry i think a .22 would be better and cheaper in the long run. but on saying that the marlin is a strong and sturdy rifle. but ammo at 21 euro a box its a bit steep. atb. bib

    all right lads. just thinking of tradeing in my .22 marlin mag for a starned .22 rifle. what i would like to know is it fairly straigt forward or is their a lot of paper work and red tape to go through regaurding the law. any help and advice welcome. atb.bib.
