    ive never had to much trouble with this mate as long as you keep the lamp off he should get the idea after a couple of times. and i have always used mine to hunt during the day before introducing them to the lamp.

    hows his recall during the day?as it needs to be good. just make sure the lamp goes off when he misses his quarry and dont put it on untill hes back on the slip and as i said if the recall is good u should'nt have much problem mate
