Betley mate, light coloured vw golf caught on CCTV towing trailer at 3.20 am. It turned towards Newcastle on main road but could have gone anywhere down the back lanes.
-
In back box was a camp bag with a hard base containing 12 fox nets with metal tent pegs and two bellman collars.
-
Stolen from Crewe on 13/11/16 Honda foreman quad with front and rear mounted ally boxes. Front box for 3 terriers, inner lid broken on left hand compartment and front dented in middle. Rear box lid slightly twisted and no catches to fasten it. If anyone is offered these boxes please pm me. They also took my ifor Williams trailer and chainsaws etc.

It's not that the hunt boys don't like lurchers, it's that they don't like poachers. Huntsmen in particular put a massive amount of work into running a country, collecting fallen stock, building jumps, bridges etc, lasing with landowners, training hounds, laying cover etc, etc, etc. I think they have the right to be pissed off if someone rocks up one night Who has no permission to be there and clears an area out. I am a "hunt boy" and am certainly no toff, neither are the vast majority of people who follow hounds, you sound like the antis when you start talking shit like that. We all need to sti

Might as well join the league then! There are wankers in every sport so you can't tar everyone with the same brush. Just because you don't understand something doesnt mean it's wrong. I personally can't see the sport in shinning a light in a fox's eyes and shooting it with a rifle, doesn't really require much field craft. On the other hand it takes great skill to hunt a pack of hounds when you consider the breeding, kennel management, training, maintenance of the country to be hunted etc. Each to their own.

Heard the bloke is a arsehole and couldn't get on with anyone he worked with. Not heard about his bad kennel management but it doesn't surprise me. Didn't he finally get the push for getting pissed at a hound show and having a rant at the master in front of the crowds?
-
Talking pre-ban of course, one of the reason hunts "see their arse" with rifle men is that a lot of time and money is put into running a hunt country. Probably the biggest expense is running a flesh round which costs us around £12-15k a year but provides a valuable service to farmers. Then there is all the time and money spent building and repairing jumps, wickets, bridges etc, laying cover, earth stopping and even just driving round to see landowners to set up country. When you take all this into consideration you can see why someone might be a little miffed when someone goes lamping a few day

The Scratch Beagle Club was formed by the founders of the Cheshire Beagles which are still going today.

Do you do a back box for quads to store shovels etc?
-
Think the Kenwoods are upto 5km but obviously that depends on the terrain
-
You wont go far wrong with Kenwood pro talk. Built to military spec so tough and showerproof, had mine 6 seasons now and still going strong! Pricy at about £140 a pop but will last for years.

And as of this morning the Oakley!

Have you still got the quad mate? If you have could you send me some pictures?
