  1. ohh yeah i agree but if hes like it and he was the better one out of the bunch from what i had heard what are the rest up to?? who did they get into it through how many others have they spread there KNOWLEDGE onto!! lol i am all for helping and guidance(i'm no angel but i at least had the savvy not to leave evidence of my exploits) but you cant help them all!! and thats the sad part about it!!
  2. i get phonecalls on a weekly basis from lads wanting to take there dogs out on my permission with me as they have never bothered to get any thereselves. a true story from last season, i picked a younger lad up who i knew was out alot with his group of mates and there dogs, as he was complaining all the time that he never got to have a decent night out lamping without getting into trouble!! so when i went to pick him up he was standing in his old trainers and old set of trackie bottoms and a hoodie and a fairly healthy looking bullx with a few other bits in the mix i thought, but he swore dif
  3. its somthing a dog learns through experiance really!! when you get a squatter walk the dog up to it with the beam on it all the time dont take the beam off and when your sure the dog has seen it slip it!! eventually the dog should learn to look to the end of the beam!! you may find you have to walk all the way too it if it struggles to see it but be patient dont get the rabbit to kick up and run yourself let the dog find it!! you may have to reapeat this a number of times before you can send it from a distance but it will crack it it the end!! also with a puppy i start off with a rabbit skin
  4. is that road walking or normal walks?? you should enter the london marathon this year fella!!!
  5. sort of if thats really what you want!! to keep it simple i'd say get a 3/4 grey x 1/4 collie as its only your first dog it will suit what your going to do fine and there easy to train!! a half cross collie grey can be a bit to clever for a beginner!! if your really new to running dogs are there none of your mates with the bull xz that can point you in the direction of a GOOD DOG MAN!! i wouldnt really suggest buying a hybrid of anyone you dont know as it could have anythink in it!!! the simpler you keep it the better you know what your getting with a collie xgrey as a starter dog then aft

  11. Before this gets out of hand I think he's confusing the poor unfortunate hound that crossed the "live" railwayline and got electrocuted with "hounds gettin set on fire" as it's an anti's film they won't show you all the good work the hunt do or the poor lambs/chickens/gamebirds that get slaughtered by rogue foxes thats a better way of explaning it!! i thought Arsenal f.c was saying that hunts set light to hounds somthing id never heard of before!!
  12. :wankerzo4: Just what i think , my opinion ya cant possibly tell me thats fair no 1 can . if you agree with hounds gettin set on fire and fox what dont stand a chance deer what havnt got the slightest chance of gettin away , its all pointless to me a dont want no debate a was just sayin what i felt sorry if i sound stupid but never been into following the hunt although alot of my mates do!! can you explain what you mean about setting the hounds alight?? never heard of this before and would like to know more!! thanks

  14. a horizontal filament has a larger width across at the starting point of your beam!! a vertical filament is directing the light straight forward with a lesser width at the starting point of the beam!! the light you see at your spot is governed by how it is projected from the lamp through the bulb wich starts from the filament!! it was a suggestion to help him get a smaller spot!! if you start off with a smaller more directed light projection your going to create a smaller spot!! however wether or not this makes a big enough diffrence to help the lad out whos asking i dont know!! her

  18. Round my ways we all know if were on ground Were we shouldn't be and were there's no public footpath as long as we don't have the rabbits on us the most you can be done with is trespass!! And that's a civil matter not criminal!!!
  19. down my way im quite lucky!! there arent hares in the area i hunt!! so the police dont really bother with us!! there more intrested in protecting gatwick airport!! as long as we arent lamping the planes up and pointing rocket launchers at them there not bothered!! ive had them out a few times to me usally when on my permission but thats only because there driving through and they want to make sure were legit!! starting to hear a few stories of people shooting illegally round mine so its hotting up a bit but they are generally quite good and leave us be once they see were only out for rabbits!
  20. "There is no known minimum dietary carbohydrate requirement for either the dog or the cat. Based on investigations in the dog and with other species it is likely that dogs and cats can be maintained without carbohydrates if the diet supplies enough fat or protein from which the metabolic requirement for glucose is derived." hope this helps

  22. Theres been some unjustified comments bieng made about particular cross's!! comments that are of no use to anyone!! so this is the opportunity to hear the opinions of everyone but you must give a reason why you have said this!! i understand that theres lots of diffrent opinions regarding brains(collie), regarding size(whippet), regarding stamina(suluki), and the said prey drive(bull),theres more i know!! feet, power, speed, learning ability, agility, overkeen, stubborness, anything you think any cross makes good or spoils a dog lets hear honest backed up statements to what good or what bad fea
