Correct all English men by law had to practise archery every sunday.Thats why the french hate you. argencore Agincourt and if I am correct the two finger salute ( or up yours) was started by English archers !! When captured by the French they would cut off there fingers so they could never use a bow and arrow again against them!! And this was used as a form of mockery by the English before battle!!! Just a usless bit of information for you!!!

Just heard my local hunt have scrapped there hounds and have placed an order of 30 roosters!!! Don't remember hearing any laws on hunting foxs with chickens!!!

Well when I was growing up I used to watch foghorn legorn and his little mate the chicken hawk getting one over on that nasty bulldog!! Maybe the chickens are related to him somwere along the lines!! Da da da da da da da da dadadada dededede de de that's all folks!!!

I was out for a mooch with the dog today and the dog was hunting up in some cover miles away from any roads and he found a young dead fallow deer!!! I checked it over and it had died probly during the night!! I couldn't see any sighn of injury and it was in lovley condition!! And I would normally take it home and eat it!! But After Reading some of the posts about the poisoning I thought better of it!!! Would any one have done the same????

My dog genuinly can't swim he goes as far as his feet can touch the ground and that's it!!! He likes water but dosent like swimming he makes a right drama out of it!!! Could be to do with the fact that as a pup he was flying around in the woods and there was a still pond coverd in green little pond weeds(wich I must admit did look solid to the untrained eye) well I'm sure you can guess what happened next! He walked on water for a milliesecond!! Funniest thing I've ever seen!!

I assumed because he was allready running his dog and he said it was running well it was struggling too see squatters!!! Yes I agree to learn the beam from scratch better off on moving targets!!!!

cheers for that mate,get a pic of yours up,want have a look just before i got mine from hancock my mate had a 5/8 3/8 beardie x off him!! she was a fantastic dog for her age unfortunatly right at the start of her second season and she was ready to really show us what she could do she was hit by a car and killed outright!! he was walking her over his local park 5.30am just before he went to work and a fox ran out in front of her while she was off the lead and across the road and made it but sadly she didnt!! shes the reason i got myself one i opted for a 3/4 grey x 1/4 collie!! hes no

i have a fair bit of permission right next to gatwick airport and right under the flightpath!! its noisey every 10mins with a plane coming into land and theres massive amounts of light pollution all the time!! so the rabbits there are used to noise and the excessive light especially as a plane is landing it lights up the fields like it was daylight!! i'll lamp these even on the worst nights and can garuntee i'll get a few runs!! i dont bother with my other permissions as i like to save them for the better nights!!!

i feel its more down to the individual dog!! you just know when the dogs getting to old dont really think there is a specific age when they stop!! its one of those things you know or at least you should know!!!

gutted for the fella!! but if you really think about it he was driving down a country lane keeping an eye on his dog what if say a cyclist or horse rider popped up at the point when say his lurcher sees somthing and tries to give chase!! i know its a worse case scenario but i think he could have gone somwere a bit more secluded like an indutrial estate or somthink!! only my opinion based on thr lanes roundc mine you get allsorts flying through them!!!

when i see certain blokes who run dogs!! (who i dont run dogs with I MIGHT ADD) they seem to talk to me as if we share some sort of strange bloodlust!! i tell them all the time its not the killing part i get my kicks out of its the time and effort i put into the dog and watching it all come together( to wich i get funny looks like im mad) !! i think there are a lot of misguided people out there that think all hunters share there thirst for bloodshed!! if theses people openly speak to me about what they do who else are they speaking out infront of!! its as if they are only intrested in hav

in hinesight yes!! but i was taught never to judge a book by its cover!! so i gave him a chance!! he may not be able to afford wellies and suitable hunting clothes you never know!!

ohh yeah i agree but if hes like it and he was the better one out of the bunch from what i had heard what are the rest up to?? who did they get into it through how many others have they spread there KNOWLEDGE onto!! lol i am all for helping and guidance(i'm no angel but i at least had the savvy not to leave evidence of my exploits) but you cant help them all!! and thats the sad part about it!! Was he not willing to learn in any shape or form ? to be honest i think he thought i was a grumpy f****R after i had had words with him!! so he never rang me again!! i'd like to think
