Here's a picture of my lurcher Jet after he caught himself on barbed wire while the rabbit went straight under!! We were away from home at the time so had to find a local vet - 200 quid and a load of stitches later this was how he looked. He never made a sound either at the vets or when he hit the wire, poor dog. Just thought I'd post a picture of my Lurcher after we'd been out lamping for an hour. Sorry - struggling to get my picture on!!! Keeps saying the attachment is too big - any tips anyone? I've managed it at last - but this is as big as it'll let me go!!

Good luck Frank - that's exactly the type of bitch we're after, but we've just moved house so it's not the right time. Once we're sorted we'll be looking into it again - hopefully a blue bitch or a blue and white bitch. Keep us posted and try and get some pics up.

Hello to everyone I've never done this before so please bear with me, I love the Hunting Life site so I had to join! I have a 5 year old black Lurcher called Jet, we go lamping a lot but he tends to get a lot of injuries so he spends a lot of time resting as well!! I had him to the vets just a couple of weeks ago when his back leg swelled up 3 times the size of the other - apparently he had fluid on it and it was badly bruised but he's OK now. Anyway, that's us - I'm looking forward to reading about everyone else and the photos are great.
