    elvers are young eels they catch them and they get sold on eventually being grown on in rice fields in the east at least thats what im led too believe if im wrong im sure someone will put me straight.

    3 to 4 minutes you will know when they are done they will turn orangey red and float too the surface.yes you can freeze.make sure water is boiling and dont put too many in at a time

    go on your local river for trout youll see them but like you say wont see them where the polish are taking all the fecking carp.

    flick the lamp from side to side fast when rabbit reaches the edge of field. disorientates it for a few seconds gives the dog a couple more seconds usually thats all the dog needs

    tried powerbait wich one theres hundreds of diff types even in worm and maggot shapes

    caught 6 was strange didnt catch on corn but caught on cats whisker lure stripped through swim corn def brought them in though.

    put them in boiling water alive as you do lobster.then pull meat from tail claws etc.as for keeping them alive leave in a bucket.with some water where they were caught from. thats how i do it

    hi all been snaring with no results as yet read pinned articles and can see what beats look like on the drawings but when out in the field can only find runs but cant see no footprints. is there something im missing apart from glasses.
