  1. Hes a good dog and he does point and flush but once he has flushed the gamebird he runs after it through the corn on his back legs so he can see where its flying.
  2. He got it free mate and to be honest we are both not bothered, i dont know anything about this sport. Manythanks, Zachrussell
  3. Basically i know nothing about gun dog but my mate picked up a 2 year old half trained springer. We took for walks and i think it has been taught to point and flush from what i can see, but as soon as the dog flushes it jumps on its back legs through the corn for 300 metres trying to follow the game bird.If the dog see's a rabbit it will kill it and if it see's hares it will them, well im not sure about hares but it killed a levveret yesterday. Any help on training this dog so it stops running after game bird that it has flushed and chasing them for 300 metre.?

  11. your correct on the practise, I was using the back of throat "gargling" technique, and thought it was giving a good call, after around 3 hrs, I had figured out how to use the "stomach" air as he demostrates on u tube, and its a totally different call saying that, yesterday was a total waste, hardly a bird in the sky Can you put the link up of the video thinking about getting a magpie caller ive tried the pellets in a matchbox and it does not work lol

  14. Hi guys, ive been wanting to ask this for ages now but is there anyway of getting your ferrets really excited and getting them doing the ferret war dance, because i used to have them in the house and they did it all the time, but my parents would rather keep them outside because of the smell. Is there a toy thats gets them hyper or a sound, what could it be because i see these videos and people have got there ferrets doing it?
  15. Sorry i hadn't seen this ... i dont think its exclusive to shows .. its anywhere theres likely to be a gathering .. all people can do is just be mindfull in places where there has been confirmed cases Ive just read up on distemper surely theres a chance they will get if you take them out rabbiting? Ive read theres a vaccine is the vaccine worth it? Because ive also read it can cause anaphylactic shock. The only way to confirm causes of death in cases like this is to pm the ferret... i have no idea how many ferrets could have got distemper from being out doing there job & it
