I know the feeling I live local to you. I have some permission I have been shooting, ferreting around here for about 10 years it is very very difficult in this area of Kent to get permission. I really want to start rabbitng with a whippet but I cannot find the permission to allow it. There is some shooting clubs around in kent to shoot on farms etc. for a price but they do not allow hunting with dogs. If your in to duck & Geese shooting there is the Kent wildfowlers

I use fly spray if I have not got any frontline. Spray the fly spray on something & paint it on with a cotton bud

Thanks for the reply Kat I would go into hawking 110% but I clearly cannot give enough time for the birds welfare etc. thats what I needed to know its definetly not for me at the moment.

Hello excuse me if these questions have been asked before. I have tried to research as much as I can on the internet & i have read a couple of books & threads on THL. I am looking at enrolling on a falconry/lantra course & maybe join a club but before I engage to far spending unecessary money I need some general help info. My huge concern is how much flying is required after training hawk everyday? what if I could only fly once a week & what if I could only fly the hawk twice a month? obviously Im only considering the hawks welfare/fitness etc. here; this is worse

A BARF diet is best for them & some dry biscuit (Vitalin I use) lambs liver & they love lambs heart & beef heart, chicken wings but I find they go off chickens wings sometimes with recent & past ferts, baby chicks I have given them baby mice aswell before. You should never give them any part of a pig as this is poisonous to them.
