    my pup thats 7 months old hes 23inches tts nw ive give him rabbit skins he will retrevie it straight to me and drop it in my hand so u think it would be ok to give him one or 2 runs

      i personally wouldent slip it at any thing till its around ten months let it be a pup mate and dont rush into it theres to many young dogs getting introduced to live quarry far to early
