    alright mate i manage to get a bit of flying in on sunday but the min we went out in the open the wind was just taking him off we tried a bit of lure work but the wind was to strong for him and took him to a tree about 2 fields away but i used the lure to bring him down but i dont want to risk it again in case he gets injured. dont think the wind is going to get much better in the week mate so will try again to get him out with the ferrets at the weekend. I need to get him hunting soon as im seeing a surgeon tomorrow as he wants to disguss another op on my back as the last op hasnt worked a

    thanks everyone i have narrowed my search down to a few cars now if i go for a cheap 4x4 as a 2nd car then im looking at one of the imports perjero or surf. Ive seen a SWB land Cruiser i quiet like but will have to take back seats out. but i made the mistake of looking at a nissan dealer garage and took a pathfinder for a test drive and was well impressed so now thinking of getting rid of the audi a4 and getting a pathfinder as a dual purpose car kicks the arse out of any other 4x4 ive had or looked at, its chain driven, 7 seats but the back 5 seats fold totally flat, brilliant mpg, loads

    i chin then neck i like to make sure its done quick and proper and ive never had any rabbits jumping about after infact hardly any movement at all. dont like the chop as i think its to easy to miss the correct spot and can cause unnecessary suffering and i think it looks awful to any on lookers but if your more confident at chopping than chinning or necking then your probably better sticking to that

    Hi mate is this what you mean? its what i use it says its can pick up from 40 miles in perfect conditions but wether it can or not im not sure but its only 8in long very light and works brilliant and very easy to use

    did think about a van first of all but i need the 4x4 really. with that td4 is that the bmw engine mate i was told to keep away from the freelander have you had much problems with it mate

    cheers mate my mate has a rav 4 and i like them i think the boot is a bit small for what i want ive heard the surfs are good not the 2.4 but the 3L D dont want to spend no more than 3k as its just going to be a 2nd car for mainly hunting. ps doing your photos now mate just got to put them on photobucket first

    Nice one cheers for that dont know when it will be ready i told her no rush. Im really starting to see his agile ability flying through branches and distorting his body shape is brilliant to watch which is why i wanted a male i got him to drop vertically out of a tree yesterday to the fist im hoping to get him out this weekend with the ferrets if the weather is good and i can get someone to come with me.

    im looking to get a new 4x4 for this season as im using a suzuki at the moment but its to small and its a soft top so when you open the back door you need to take out the back window to fit in a travel box which is a real pain im thinking about getting a toyota surf, mitsubishi challenger or nissan x trail or the pick up. i need a 4x4 to fit a dog maybe 2, a travel box possibley 2 travel boxs next year, ferret box, digging equipment as i have to carry more than just a spade to dig because of the wiltshire caulk hills makes hard digging. Would just like to know your thoughts on these and/or w

    Getting rid of my grand vitara gv2000 and thinking about getting a toyota surf 3.0 td for the new season have read a bit about them via the internet and havent read anything bad about them unlike the 2.4 would just like to hear others opinions on this 4x4 please thanks for reading

    When i get the hood on him he has never tried to shake or pull it off so he seems happy in it but i was given that one but im having one made by a lady who makes them who has a MHH along with FHH and falcons the MHH is from the same breeder as mine and is of the same size so ill have to trust her to make one that fits and as i said above i might leave it for a while at least till he is entered properly. I know nothing about hoods what so ever so will just have to suck it and see as i cant turn back time to when i was manning him and if i cant get him to wear one or i think its causing a probl

    Alright mate yeah its been fairly bad here mate today the sun was out but still to windy. I had someone with me who i mentioned in my diary he put it on him first and then i did but its always easier there as he has the other birds to distract him. I show him the hood in my hand then move it to his chest and stroke his chest with it then move to get it on then when i take it off he gets some food not sure if thats the right way but thats how i was shown tried it today in the weighting room/garage but couldnt get it on so i might leave it for a while because like you said he might start hatin

    he sees the ferrets everyday like i said about the dog it was my fault as they both came at the same time there was no mallace from the dog as he knows the score and when Thor is bowed in the garden the dog is always about to but your right next time he will be on the lead for the time being. Got a hood on Thor yesterday and a tail mount but its still pretty hard work getting the hood on but will just keep with it. Weather is shocking here at the moment so cant fly him for a few day at least so will do a bit more fitness work with the dog.

    mate he is so gealous of Thor i take my dog everywhere with me but obviously ive had to spend quiet a bit of time with the Thor at the moment its so funny he looks at me as if ive just cheated on him or something when have Thor on the fist. First couple of times trying to get that photo he kept turning his back on us we were cracking up :laugh: You can see that in the pic mate, if its any consolation my lurcher is the same, stubborn :laugh: Quality mate

    cheers mate yeah he is a lot better the hardest thing is putting on the transmitter but he is getting better but im hopefully putting a tail mount on this week and maybe that will help. Got a good place to try out the ferreting and ill be holding the hunting straps very tight for the ferrets sake cant wait but might have to pop up on the permission with a strimmer get rid of some of the nettles around the burries

    Alright lads thats a shame having to move your quality setup for ruby look forward to seeing the photos with new camera had bloody foxes at the back of my house the other night i think in the neighbours garden but im hoping the dog being in the kennel will stop them actually getting into mine or hope all goes well this season with ruby and reading the updates all the best lads

    just a quick update Thor is flying well still just introduced him to the lure which he seems to like chasing. tried flying him with my dog but my dog chased him when he came in to land but it was my fault as when i whistled they both came but Thor just flew off back to the tree but came straight back. Then Thor got swooped at by some bloody seagull that seems to turn up every time we do, if it carries on ill take my shot gun with me and put a stop to it hahaha. Also a magpie tried getting to close to Thor in a tree which he ignored for a while but then Thor had enough and chased it out of t
