    Thankfully over here i carry a gun for sport, not to protect myself or to attack anyone, just good old fashioned sport ! Maybe great britian is actually GREAT after all ?!

    Were these snares laid illegally ? ie by poachers or as a means of pest control ? if its the later then you guys have no right to complain about snares,you should be checking with the land owner when you get permission if snares are laid and in what area's they are ! and your dogs should be undr control....i could see your point if its the snares that shouldnt be there !     There was a couple of lads houses turned local to here recently, i thimnk they got some dodgy footage on a video recorder though so there fecked.....apparently there 150 plain clothed officers been assinged to deal with "wild life crime" in strathclyde alone. just glad i'm outta the terrier game now

    The course at thurso is full but they suggested i try borders college. Where in ayrshire are you from mate ? Andrew borders college is a better one anyway thurso if full of stalkers. I went to borders for a year and a half, droped out halfway through the second year as i got offered a full time grouse beatkeepers job, now thats 4 of us out of a class of 7 or 8 with jobs. borders is your best bet mate. Is it still Andy whinnwood and tweedie that are there mate ?

    i shoot maybe 2 a year just for soup,but there are loads on our ground and i wouldnt say there is any sport involved

    wouldnt it be great if one of the national papers would take interest in a story like that with pictures as evidence, then maybe the public would understand ! might be worth giving them a ring but i doubt they would take interest !

    Hi folks just wanted a bit of advice,our lakeland terrier bitch has 2 bald spots on her sides,they dont seem to be bothering her in any way, no scratching ect and she seems to be bouncing at the min,the bitch has just come off of season so wondered if that could have anything to do with it ? she also picked up a bag of rat poison when we were out a couple of weeks ago but dont think she ingested any of it. anyone experianced anything similar or have any idea's what it could be ?
