    over the past 7months mate ive been out lamping at least 4 times a week ,not once in a year and think im an expert i know what works for me by actually using things and not reading about them.in my findings theyve let in water and corrode in a matter of hours.like i said in my experience you only get what you pay for if you want things to last mate.i cant see it being good in mist mate even with a top lamp its hard to recognise quarry safely.

    hi lads what x magnification do you set zero .its a mil dot 3x9x50 scope.you see with my other scope a map 6 reticle its x6 and i leave it on x6 all the time while hunting.will it be the same for the mildot scope .i zero in at 35yds,any help would be greatly recieved atb carl.

    i had a tx for a couple of years mate ,but didnt feel as natural as the 97k or as balanced but deadly accurate all the same.

    i have at the moment a 97k but after summer im going to get a new gun and use the 97k as an everyday type of gun ,rainy weather and such.my dilema is should i get another 97k because ive got shooting it suprebly and its probably the most accurate gun ive ever owned.i swapped the tx for the 97k,because it wasnt that natural to coming up to the shoulder although a fantastic looking and very acurate gun,though now its looking appealing again to me ,also in the frame is the 97kt the only thing is ive got a feeling ill have to sort the spring out straight away unless theyve sorted the springs out.c

    straight up with the alarm 5 oclock ,got my gear together ,got the dog a brilliant working 3 year old border and off we set .im lucky to have 4 permissons only 20 mins walk awayand today we were going to one were the rabbits have been ransacking a beautiful 3 acre garden set smack bang at the side of a massive disused railway embankment .this permisson is also luckily for me leading right next to a 250 acre permisson which through a hole in the fenceim straight on to .when we arrived at the gate of a 200 hundred yard drive i slipped the dog off the lead and loaded the 97k and set off slowly do

    andy the solid part im on about is the fastener thats attached to the action ,the gunsmith said its floating so you can line the stock up with the screws on either side ,but im not sure ,also the washers mate which one should be nearest to the screw head pal thanks

    hi lads,just a quick question.where the front of the stock on the hw97k is fixed to the action with a screw on either side should the fastener be floating or should it be fixed solidly?

    yes mate sorted it out and entered the right weight,good tool mate .when i took it back they had to chrono it and it came out exactly the same so its bang on accurate pal thanks again and atb carl.
