nothing better than goose fever, they fly right over my house all night some nights (live in newburgh right on the ythan) they just never seem to fly right over my head when am tucked in a bush with frost all over the barrles of the gun and blue fingers. no wonder people think were mad but theres something that makes you do it time and again, you get funny looks when ur the only one excited about high winds and cold weater. I get home in 2 weeks so the gear will be coming out i havnt been out this year yet so its something to look forward to on my time off. happy hunting hesko

My old man used to use them on the lochs, he called it a tiller board. The tiller is angled so when you walk along and pay out line the board pulls its self out in to the water, with a few hooks think he used maggots for the trout. Never seen it used though.

am in bulgeria just now on a oil rig but spent one day in varna before a came offshore, seemed a nice enough place friendly people and beautiful girls :kiss: , i noticed in my hotel there is loads of stuff to do water parks, sea life centers, lots of stuff for kids. A holiday is what you make it tho! Hope you enjoy it
