    The best man I've ever seen to dig is a Yorkshire man living over here.He'd carry a mattock and shovel in one hand and the terrier on it's chain was in his other hand. On his shoulder he'd have a small bag with a torch, nets, a bottle of water for the terrier and his locator. Most digs I had with this man were 7 and 8 footers but believe me if this man was on his own he'd still have gone to the same holes and on several 10 footers we had he'd do most of the digging. And remember, with a mattock they're not much use after 4 or 5 feet so it was the shovel after that. Sometimes I think ter

    Yes but that's Hampshire and it's August...its a different story in mid winter especially in mid/west Wales. I could go round most places on a penny farthing this time of year

    In fairness the best quad is your 2 legs, you just can't rip around on quads unless you have good ground to work over that covers something worth talking about. Did lads not have to dig you and your van out off a lane last season ? No quads about then. So that's why 90 0ercebt of terrierman in the UK use quads then...because your two feet is better? You can use your feet when you jump off the quad but you can't use a quad if you don't have 1

    Suzuki king quad every time. 500 is plenty...if your pulling alot of weight get the 750. I stay from Honda nowadays...and never liked a yam after 3 years they have head gasket problems without warning...and it's not cheap. My king wuas battery will run flat but would need 2 months of no use...its because the clock is still working on them.

    Still need something to reduce swelling, pain relief and stop infection. As good as dry cow is it won't do all 3...

    Genuinely the first person I know not to rate them. Paramo and musto are quality too I hear...
