    I found them harsh on the feet when digging. Especially with an ankle that's got f****d ligaments...

    Never used harkila but used haix. I'm a tree surgeon and they're mate for abuse. Mine lasted about 2 seasons pure abuse and not a drop of wax. Heavy to walk in but Strong as feck to dig in...the sole on my meindl dovres lasted 2 months and my brand new Andrews bartoro high welts lasted a month. Go for the Tibet forest option if I were you i found them better than protector pro

    Harcombe and bluck don't hunt hounds if you had a boss on the phone to you to hurry up a quad is getting you there alot quicker than your feet plus youl have every tool you'd need

    Yep, same as that. Always an extra pound or two on them in case they get left in overnight. That extra pound or two might cause the overnight stay due to it being tight?

    Double figures digs this season? I should hope so too it's almost over! 2 pups a feckall for a lining...a decent russel is hard to find.

    As I said on the other thread a great bloke who always had time to speak. I'm glad I met him and also dug to a russel of his.. Very nice guy he was a character indeed. Rip Arthur

    Was sad to hear this today. Only met Arthur 3 or 4 times and the first time I met him we had a few digs. after that every time I saw him in a show he'd always make the effort and talk and I could listen to his stories all day. Rip Arthur

    A mate of mine had a bitch who was a decent little bitch. a dog got to her somehow and there were ten pups...although he didn't plan the litter he kept 3 on her, none of them made it...the bitch never worked after the pups neither. She had chance after chance and just wouldn't work, she was fit and had plenty of time to recover from the pups... she also started dwelling in earth's. Such a shame really as shed had a fair bit of work and was going well up until the pups.
