    Yes, Mick does make a quality Net Mick has just made me 40 4' Nets on heavy 1" 1/4 Rings and 10 5' Poke Nets on Sliders Did the purse nets that Mick Dadd made for you have sliders on them, he made me 10 poke nets with sliders and also made me 20 purse nets, he put a slider on them as well, never seen them on a purse net before but I think Mick says they purse better and he normally uses them on purse nets as well. The 10 Poke Nets have a slider on both ends. The standard Purse Nets have a heavy 1 1/4 inch Ring on both ends. He sent me a sample of a Net with a slider on one

    My choice would be 10Z Nylon knitted onto good quality heavy 1 1/4 inch Rings and a good 5mm Drawcord. Yes, they are a little heavier but they handle well

    Some fantastic pics there Ferreting partner had back trouble this morning (couldnt get up off it ) so had a mooch with the Terriers as we have had a nice sprinkle of snow. 1st Earth well ran but not at home 2nd Earth ran to death and with numerous prints in and out of the Earth Old Dog gave a solid mark so put B&F on him and away he goes. 10 minutes later a nice Big Dog Fox bolted, ran about 30 yards and stopped to look back at me, would of made a cracking photo against the snow as a back drop but i had forgot to take my cammera Half hour later, still no sight or

    I've had a fair few ' Odd Balls ' over the years ranging from the common Blacks to Dutch type and a few Blues, one of the Blues was Stunning, around the outline of its ears were a nice peach colour,he/she was left to run another day . What i have noticed though is all the Black ones have a very funny texture to there pelts, it might just be me but they do feel a little different to the norm.

    End Game. The 1st Cross i had off Fireman has a fantastic nose and is pretty fast for a 1st Cross as it goes, he is alot faster than he looks. Wild Rover or Chalkwarren are the best 2 Lads to comment on this, they have worked this type of cross for a long time and are both very experienced Lurcher Men. I let my Mate take my Young Dog (after much much begging). He doesnt work and is out all the time Mooching,Snaring,Trapping etc.... and the Dog is with him 24/7, he could give the Dog alot more work than i ever could, i work full time and have a mortgage to pay etc....     Yes, shame about your Bitch,i know what you thought of the Dog Fireman. Yes, ' Jake ' is now with my Mate, Neighbour was moaning about his barking when people went past my hands were tied as i am still on probation for my little run in with that Traffic Copper but, i will deal with him later . ' Jake ' has settled really well at my Mates, HE DOES'NT WORK so the Dog is with him 24/7. He is taking alot of Rabbits with him on the Lamp, he has tracked 10 Roe so far and has hunted up and retrieved (after being shot) numerous Hares.     The Cleveland and The South Durham, i am sure the Terrier Lads for both are on here????? They might be able to PM you the dates??? I used to go and follow the Cleveland when i had time, just far to busy now I will try and follow one though sometime over the Christmas Holidays
