  4. had a 1st cross RB/GH,big heavy dog but could run all the same,proved to be really handy at anything with teeth and was more than capable running down deer(pre ban).RIP buster
  5. having a full english to soak up last nights session then taking the the dogs for a run

  7. got a third place with the old dog today,mind there was only 3 dogs in class lol,had a cracking day,plenty of fine animals too

  12. I had a dog got bit on front leg by an adder he got treated by a vet but unfortunatly never fully recovered and ended up in house as sofa dog(i dont think he was complaining tho LOL),luckily these happenings are quite rare,hope your dog makes a full recovery, ATB Broonie1

  14. they look like my pup same age aswell you didnt get them from up stanley by any chance no mate my cousin bred them,i own the sire
  15. try giving lindisfarne a go,you need to apply for a permit and need insurance but it should cost you no more than a 100 quid for both,not dear for a whole season,i have had some cracking flights off there when geese come in

  17. whats the name,i will keep him in mind,its just that round our way its 3 branches of same vet,and they tend to look down there noses at working dogs
  18. Got pup back from vets last night,they tryed to have my pants down by saying the bill was £750 after giving me an estimate of £250,robbing f*@ckers,needless to say am not going back there,anyone know of any decent vets who dont mind a working dog in the newcastle area,cheers Broonie1
  19. Sorry to hear that mate,I lost a dog in the same way went down ditch on lamp only young dog as well,hope your bitch makes full recovery

  21. Took the old man for a couple of runs last night,hes lost a bit of pace now but makes up that with his brains,this dog is clocking on 11 year old and still thinks hes two,still a pleasure to watch on the odd run,just hope the two pups I bred out of him turn out as good as dad
