  4. Hve a good look on JSRamsbottom site , some good scopes there and very good customer service .
  5. I would expect about 40 full power , consistent shots , between 170bar and 110bar . You need to work with it and get to know your power curve .
  6. I`ll say hello even if nobody else does . Hello LJ , hope you lookin after the chuckle brothers ( Si and Tony ) Welcome , Buster
  7. Seems the airgun section is getting back to what it used to be
  8. No mate , but a 22 has a loopy trajectory , can be a pain to get used to it , where as 177 is fairly flat . Im sure you`ll be ok , as you have pervious shooting experiance , have fun and keep us informed , Bust .
  9. Sounds like a decent buy at that price , and if you want , im sure you could shift it without being out of pocket . Do yuou have anyair gun experiance ? and is the set up .177 or .22 ? Bust
  10. Personally i would`nt bother . You get what you pay for , especially with Night Vision , and by the look of that unit , it can`t be used as an add on . You must understand that if it could be used in conjunction with a rifle scope , this would be a great selling point and in sure it would be advertised as such . On the other side of the coin , alot of `spotting scopes ` and `NV Mono`s ` simple wont work as an add on because of the lens configuration . As a spotting scope they need a focusing objective lens , and this , combined with the set up of the lenses in your rifle scope , will not give
  11. Just glad your sorted mate , Bust .
  12. Personally ide be going round the sales , you`ll get a good bargain there
  13. Do you not mean DSLR ? http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread.php?504136-Canon-EOS-450D-DSLR-with-extras...
  14. Agreed Matt , and i for one would be taking it up with not only the RFD , but BSA if it does go over .
  15. Well done JD , good to get out with the air rifle aint it
  16. Well although its on ly five days old , like i said , the blame would be laid at your door , so to speak . On the other side of the coin , at five days old its hardly had time to `run in ` so it`s extremly doubtful it would be over power . If you have insurance with anyone i would give them a ring and get some legal advise on it , but dont worry too much as its doubtful you will have a problem. Also i would get in touch with the police and see about the `drying ` or general care and get them to give a ( in black and white if possible ) a statement on the condition of the gun , as it is now . 17. Part one of 9 .......................
  18. HHHMMMMMMMMMM Very good Darcy , i see you posting in the airgun section a little bit of late . I remember a time when we were lucky to see you post in anything but the `Photography ` section , brownie point for you JD .
  19. You say the gun is 5 days old . Was it purchased new ? and if so i presume you have the receipt ? As far as drying it , you can try your luck , but i cant see anyone letting you touch it untill its been tested . This can be a time of concern for many airgun shooters , and is why its important to keep an eye on power levels . This is why it`s not a good idea to have your gun doing 11.8 ftlbs , as when a really heavy pellet is used it will go over , then its the owners responsibility . Out of interest , what gun ? Bust
  20. I found a short , sidewheel scope best for a NV add on .
  21. It would be a case of swapping the barrel and cyliner . Not too involved really , main thing would be keeping an eye on the power . Parts needed would be - RN235 CARBINE CYLINDER TUBE £35-£40 S403 F/G ( depending on calibre ) CARBINE BARREL CARBINE £110 - £125 Would be worth your while changing all seals whilst its stripped ( about £6.50 for a set ) Buster
