Having got inside info that we are being invited back to Anna Maria, I’ve been looking for purpose made travel rod holdalls..... this time I’m looking at 3 weeks. Ill be taking a 9 weight rod, 85gram baitcaster and my Goto 8ft savage 40gram lure rod all with reels loaded with 50-100lb braid (not got a salty fly reel yet) the brother in law now owns a boat complete with all the electronics.....so between him and a few guides I’ll hopefully get amongst a few fish! tight lines mate!

There’s a guy in South Africa that swims with em,( he may now be dead unsurprisingly). I’d love to do it out of the cage, I think sharks are fascinating and much maligned. But I’d also be shitting myself to see a big white come out of the gloom. Matt

Kev, I’m with you 100%, unless I know the address of the director then I tend not to wet a brush. Ive been nailed to floor on prices then shafted on snags that wasn’t even snags (defective work). Once they know they’ll lose a lot more than you they soon learn to play fair. Just to add that any prat in brand new riggers and beige chinos gets some serious shit from me or the few lads that help me out. Uni quantity surveyors or contract managers tend to steer clear of the decorators on the few new build sites that we do. Lol

900 million in debt and the government were still throwing contracts at em...... I doubt the directors will be worrying about going homeless or where the next meal is coming from. Another corrupt big firm will take over the contracts and screw even more small companies over no doubt.

Flacko, I use 50lb diawa j braid and a stiff jerkbait leader as oppose to a regular trace (keeps everything in a straight line) I do not cast anything over about 85grams. jok, if it’s the fishery that I was fishing right next to then they declined my application to chuck some fluff a few years ago.The river next to said fishery isn’t theirs so I just go there instead and never cast a lure into the lake. You’re welcome out anytime mate. matt

First pic was from NYE on completely new jerkbait set up (rod,reel,braid,lure) that I’d been weak willed enough to buy the day before. Second one is s fish I took today(Sunday) from a 45 min session on a local flooded river on the same set up but different jerkbait.
