As above? I clicked on the weed thread and went to page 1! Thought bollocks to reading through all that lol ? also i tried logging in and it said my username or password is not recognised? (It's not changed since 2009?) but if I went went back in my history and clicked on general talk, I was straight in?

I didn't think there was anybody on the train? But didn't want to say in case I remembered wrong. After a quick Google I do remember that! Rip to your relative mate. We all give shit about h&s but it needs doing and jobs like the railway are jobs that have "winged it" since day dot, although I believe it's a lot better now?

Our lasses dad used to train akitas for the police apparently, I only met him a couple of times before he died and cancer etc had taken its toll and couldn't really have a conversation, but I'd Have loved to hear all about it, he was a big military man to, British army boxing champ at some point to apparently. I think we'd have got on well lol gotta love any dog doing it's job, whatever that may be

Don't know about railway engineering kd but I'm doing my nvq in engineering and manufacture at the moment. Is yours a work based thing or are you doing it before starting the job? My nvq won't actually have much to do with my actual job lol but because I was a dick at school and didn't go to uni or collage they need me to have a relevant qualification apparently. Hay it's another feather in my cap. Most of the answers so far can be found on Google lol ?

I ordered 1kg gelcoat but needed about 5! You will know there's about a 24hr window to put your glass on apparently after the gelcoat? I didn't lol but with the mold waxed I went for it anyway. 1 layer of e-glass and 2 layers of 600gm csm. I still have some resin and glass left but was thinking a pond this time and try the boat again when I order enough gelcoat! Lol I could put some stiffners in now and strengthen the transom but I'll see if I can get it out the mold first lol ?

That's my first attempt at a boat but I didn't order enough gelcoat or resin lol it's got 3 layers of glass but I don't think it's strong enough for a boat! But I reckon it could keep a few ducks happy ? lesson learned for the next one
