  3. ive compared the enforcer 140 to a dloyyd 150 and the enforcer was far better imo. but it needs a battery and cables are b*****ds lol the 150 is a cracking lamp for the price but it doesn't cut it next to a halogen. I've got both too halogen and led ,and haven't took my halogen out since, isn't the enforcer HID?you may well be correct there Roybo I think it is hid? But anyway, my mates smaller "hid" pisses all over my led lol
  4. That looks a proper mash up! My kind of meal! Lol bit of brown sauce and away you go

  6. Sure the lightforce enforcer can be cordless but I don't think the battery's are up to much? Sure I read/heard you get 1/2 hour constant? So ok for a quik shine maybe? Also I agree about halogen, I've gone back to halogen now and have easy spotted run and caught more, on the same land I thought was was looking bloody barren not long ago when I was using the led.
  7. bloody hell! What battery was that?
  8. i wouldn't bother mate, my mates just got one of these and it's spot on so far! I'll be buying one on payday anyway lol http://www.gerrysfishing.com/ridge-monkey-vault-power-pack.ir you can get them cheaper elsewhere on the internet think £149 was best I found but that's my local tackle shop and I can take it back if it f**ks up lol

  14. when/if I go down I will most definateley take you up on that dido! Thank you very much. I've got 3 months living on my own in a hotel until I can tie everything up this end l. So I'll need something to do lol very kind mate
  15. Watched a documentary on this lark a while ago, it was pretty good tbh. Some fair scraps lol
  16. thats the isle of white out the question then! Cheers socks, I was thinking the hunting could be a bit limited on there anyway lol
  17. As above there's a good chance I might be moving from sunny Cumbria down to there in the new year for a new job, I'm looking at house prices and I'm bloody worried! Lol but there seems to be some reasonable ones on the isle of white. My question is how reliable is the ferry? I really can't be missing days at work if the weathers bad or is the sort that runs regardless of the weather? 365 days a year? Is it feasible to live there and work on the mainland? Thanks for any replies
  18. Benzyl Benzoate, good stuff would that stuff work on my head?
  19. Arghh don't start this joe! I've just bought Bonnie a posh leather slip lead for Christmas lol and well done mac, I don't think I can really work mine of the slip she still gets a bit giddy when she spots one (so do I tbf tho lol)
  20. As long as the fish went for food then no problem. That said, I do have a problem with trophy killing, it does not sit well with me. TC agreed, if I was looking at a shoal of bass I wouldn't be shooting at the breeding fish id be shooting at what I needed and could use while it was fresh. im not into getting that trophy, fish that get to trophy size deserve to carry on and pass on the genes. take what you need and have some respect ( and self control) its probably worth mentioning that if spearfishing in the uk it can only be done on a single breath, no scuba gear is allowed. its not
  21. I bough one years ago but still havnt used it lol think all the rubber has perished now also.i thought I'd have a go for the bass and pollack around the rocks etc but never got around to it. It sits just fine with me? You can be very picky about what you shoot at.
  22. what a cracking read! and its good to read about the respect you have for old red, I really don't mind things getting away when they really do deserve it. I hate it when mine catches something that bounced of a fence or something. thanks for that
