    yeh import tax i had to send mine back to usa to be fixed and the bstrd's charged me import tax again when it come back but i just paid it in case they started asking questions about it

    i have had that picture on my wall enlarged from the countrymans weekly about 20 yrs ago and never knew who it was thankyou for that information i have now found the book for sale locally.

    whatever the lads reason no hound is left behind,if the hound is shite or just a pain in the arse it is his responsibility to sort it out and nobody else's, and if that means going to the landfill to cull him then so be it, the fact he doesn't like the negative comments on here is more reason to leave them, sorry perlin if this gets you grief off him but to be fair you haven't named him when you could, so he should be grateful for that cos come summer and showtime people could let their feelings known to him personally.

    lovely hearing them speak, i keep meaning to tape my beagles with the phone to use as a ringtone but alway's think about it 20 seconds before they stop speaking or are away over the nearest mountainside

    i know you probably don't need telling this but don't let him go to someone you don't know or not recommended by someone you know not seen there names on this post yet but same ppl on here are always interested in free hounds (and terriers)fck knows what they want them for but doubt its hunting

    if you can't find "good working parents" try a young rescue if you have the time and something to bring it on you can not take away 500 years of instinct fckrs will hunt anything with a scent your training will decide what, but the instinct for fox will eventually for go all other quarry (rabbits, squirrels, cats ) good luck mate oh yeh and if you have the money locators are a good investment

    had a pair of meindl burma pro (dovre are the high leg version i think) for 3 yrs, soles still good,go to a climbing shop to try them on then buy them off ebay most decent walking boots need to be 1/2 a size bigger. i use these as winter boots and a pair of meindl man made goretex's for summer (and me yellow croc wellies) only advice i can offer is look after the uppers with a good wax and plenty of it.

    yeh i used them too £24 an item i think they put it down as which saved a lot of import tax, when i ordered another collar i went to there site rather than use ebay. but still cost the same import tax.

    but it saves having your gear left in customs till you have paid for it they pay over you to save the hassle which i was happy with

    pups gone but lamp still in place in whelping kennel all hounds allowed back down the yard now to bottom kennel stuck the lamp on and watching them all love it. gay or nice to give them some comfort for a night.? i know what i feel but nice to know what others think.?

    for all the hunters contacted me telling me that i should near enough give the bitch away because thats what we do FCK OFF the give me your best price and i will pick her up now at 5 weeks old wow! the bitch has gone to a family i know and respect £300 and no shit about us working lads don't pay that. because we do if we know what we are getting and what the parents do, you pay for what you get and hopefully this bitch will work as well as her parents. angry insulted lad yes! but now a happy lad the money is to pay to feed me hounds and given them £150 now and the rest in the summer happy w
