i remember as a kid in the 70's there were always packs of dogs roaming round all day here .. cant say they were ever a problem either..
i havent had a cat for years but they are easy to keep in the house .. i think most people just cant be arsed to change the litter tray so they boot them out

you get what you pay for what you wear underneath makes a big difference tho. you can pick up goretex for £20 on ebay not too dear for a nights comfort.
