  2. can you be more precise in the info you are looking for ? foods, handling them, anything really thanks as for food i feed mine chicken, rabbit meat from the rabbits i catch, rabbits liver, raw egg weekly, mince meat, the list goes on,try to handle them every day or every 2nd day so that they get used to being handled and clean bedding once a week, fresh water daily and clean out living area daily, exercise and make sure that their health is good.you should google to find out more before you keep ferrets.hope this helps.atb
  3. Are you using a quick set or traditional net?? i am a beginner and only looking to purchase a long net for the start of next season what would be easier and cheaper for me, i like the look of the traditional set up though, would 2 100yrd nets be to much for me to begin with, the burrows i would be ferreting are along ditches and there is way to many holes for purse nets 40-50 holes either side most of them in thorn bushes.atb

  12. done the same today, was ferretin in a field ,seen 3 warrens with about 6-10 holes each in neighbouring field, heard farmer making noise in his shed and decided to call over and ask for permision to go on his land,he was more than welcome as he said the rabbits were becoming a bit of a pest, got 3 from 1st,4 from 2nd and another 4 from the 3rd and he said i can call back anytime no problem,
  13. sorry if this is a silly question, but here goes, there are a few vids on youtube showing how to set a long net but nothing on packing it away,do you just do the opposite, pole then pull net into bag or is there a way to do it to stop net tangling up when setting it again,im confused,i have never done it before and iam wanting to get into it next season.thanks atb
