  1. i will be picking up my first lurcher pup on saturday,all going well,she is 7 wks old and a 3/4 whippet 1/4 greyhound,can anyone give me a few tips on some do's and don'ts,any advice is very welcome thanks atb i have had cockers before but never a lurcher
  2. going to view on saturday and all going well,bring her home,she is only 7 wks old and fawn/white in colour(not that the colour matters) will put up pics when time comes atb

  4. was looking at an ad for the above,would they be any good for my 1st lurcher,both parents good hunting dogs,i would be using it for daytime ferreting and a bit of lamping,but mostly ferreting,cheers atb....
  5. stopped the pike fishing for now niall,i don't fish for pike in summer time,bream,roach,rudd,tench will be my game during the summer,then back to piking in oct/nov,aswell as the bunnies atb

    Cheers mate,I was thinking of that, just thought i'd ask if anyone sold the real deal first. where in scotland you from mate?i'm from barrhead,glasgow,now in ireland the last 12 yrs. I'm not far from Dumfries mate. nice

    take the net of fishing landing net and attach to basket,you can get them cheap enough in fishing shops.hope this helps
  17. does any of the irish lads on here know where i can get a whippet pup,can't seem to get one anywhere,preferably a bitch,i have phoned a few down the country but they are wanting big money because they come with K.C papers,not really interested in papers as i don,t intend to breed,just a bit of ferreting,if anyone has one or knows someone pls p.m me thanks atb....john

  19. i will be buying a whippet pup,have never owned this breed before,can anyone recommend a good book and/or dvd for training a working whippet,or any advice would be well appreciated.....cheers.john
