    thanks stroller,she will be 6 mths next week,she is very keen and i brought her out on the advice from a friend who has had whippets and lurchers for years, said she was ready to start of nice and easy,she is only brought out twice a week for an hour or two with the ferrets,cheers......john:thumbs:

    well folks had another good 2hrs out with molly today,got to my permission at 10am and we set the longnets up along a hedge-row where we seen around 12 rabbits a few days ago,molly again was keen today checking out a few holes before we entered the ferrets,wasn't long before we had the 1st in the net and molly was onto it,holding it down until i got to it i set the net about 15ft from the hedgerow again today so as to give molly a chance to see the rabbits before they hit the net,another 5 mins the next rabbit bolted into the net,this time it managed to get out just as molly was about to pounc

    so what your saying is,although you know it's bad for the pup,you will let it get a fat as it can,to take a 12 wk old pup out for an hour and cover 2 miles would be some going,you would have to be carrying it.

    had the afternoon of today ,so gave the mate a call and grabbed the stinkers and longnets,when we got to my permission i decided that i was going to set the longnets about 15ft out from the ditch that the rabbits were in so that molly could get a good look at them before they hit the net,molly seemed really tuned in today,alert to every noise within the ditch,she even nearly managed to get one before it hit the net which resulted in molly and rabbit in net i really enjoyed watching her today,i know it's only the 3rd time i've had her out,but already i can see a difference from her 1st day out
