  1. i posted a topic earlier about dog insurance for running dogs as i have an 8mth old pup that i have started, but was just wondering are these dogs alot tougher than they are sometimes given credit for, now i know accidents can and will happen in the field to any dog regardless of breeding, but do this type/s have more sprains, breaks, cuts ect than most, be interesting to see your thoughts/experience on this, sensible comments please, and no bitchin cheers......john

  5. iv not had insurance for nearly twenty years and to be honest so far iv never needed it,injurys have either been superficial or fatal, just got it now for the first time for peace of mind what with getting a new pup and also bringing in an older dog to my kennels, costs about £12 month and the excess is £,nothing really when you consider what the vets are capable of charging cheers watchman,
  6. never thought of that, did notice alot of fleas on rabbit today now that you mention it.
  7. i have the same problem with my cocker dog, he will flush anything out of cover and will let you know when he's on a scent, but he does get carried away and will start to hunt up on his own, sometimes 100 yrds or so in front, i got him when he was 18 mths old, is it to late to teach him and how would i go about doing it? if i'am taking over the thread i do appologise. dont no if theres much you can do with him mate at this age thats why i allways get my terriers as pups so i can train them the way i like them 2 hunt.they are a very lively breed of dog so id say u would have 2 start trainni

  17. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lancashire-11901584 why does this have to happen, and the worst about it is, he will be protected while inside for his 24yrs, nice and cushy with his tv + xbox, 3 meals a day in comfort, get the c**t into main stream prison and let the other cons sort him out, it's the least the government can do for his parents, hope the b*****d rots in hell.
