  1. Keeping it exercised might be a problem though if he works away from home.
  2. With the job you have at the moment i would hold of getting a pup for now. Good luck finding a job closer to home. I spent 20yrs working long hours and 10 of those were away from home. I am at home every day now for the last 5 years, got myself back into hunting again, i only get a fraction of the pay i used to get but i am alot more happy and content.
  3. you say you want to know if anyone knows him or your dog, but it's not your dog though is it.

  6. Caught loads of mackerel on loch Long. It's one long, narrow f*****g deep loch. I can mind you had to see what flag was on the bouy to see if any subs were there. Think it was an American base. Loch Fyne is another cracking loch and good fishing. Had a nice sea trout from there using mackerel as bait.RNAD Coulport is the name of the submarine base. Worked there for a couple of years in the early 90s when it was being built. We done a night shift for a week to look over the explosive site that was due to get blasted, there was a huge spot light at the edge of the water where the navy police boa

  9. if half the coursing threads on here are anything to go by, I think you could be right
  10. thats the way the dog world is gone jimmy its all about hype, you cant believe anything these days and it all comes down to money and egos.. theres no place in the dog world for an honest man.I agree with most of what you say BM. But to come out and say that there is no room for an honest man in the dog game is wrong, or do you just mean the coursing game and do you class yourself as one of these "honest men"?

  19. can't remember where I heard this one, but during the recession of the 80's when times were hard and cash was scarce, the mother along with her 3yr old son were out getting the weekly shopping, as I said, money was scarce so she was looking for the bargains so the cash would stretch out a wee bit longer, having not enough money left to buy meat for that nights dinner, being far to proud to ask for tick, she went into the local butcher and asked him "do you have any bones with a bit of meat left on that I can get for the dog " on hearing this, her 3yr old son, all excited, screams out " ooh
