but you are getting some advice, it's just not what you want to hear is it? I honestly don't know what you can do, other than just keep on at the lad or maybe the offer of a few bob might change his mind, after all he cant be attached to the dog already can he?

I bought one of these cameras last year and I find them great.

the pussy spots are caused by nettle stings, one of my dogs gets them all the time and I don't bother doing anything with them as they go away after a while, if you do want to clean them just use warm salty water.

Ok, so if your season started September and finished March was injury free, when would your dog be in "peak" condition and for how long?

I just give mine a good balanced diet, which includes venison, beef hearts, chicken, fish and veg ect. I don't bother with any supplements. Mine all have good coats on them. A good variety i think, some dogs have shinier coats than others no matter what you feed them.

Yep i think 20 odd runs for a pup is to much but each to there own, if it was me i would get the pup out on 2 or 3 rabbit's every couple of weeks through the summer months, for me it's not summer hunting but education. Pup done well though well done.

Remember going to my nans every Saturday to visit, for lunch we always had a mince pie from the butchers down the road called Knox and finnies, the proper pies with the hole in the top where the fat from the mince would be running down your chin when you took a bite oot it, don't get them like that any more.

I thought at first they were cheap at 1 euro per kilo, but it's only the knecks and wings at that price, everything else is dearer and 4 euro for a beef heart, I get them of my local butcher for 2 euro. Looks like the free delivery isn't free at all. -

Yep always look forward to the mackerel season, book a days sea finishing, a load of freezer back and fill them up on the way back in, usually have around 200 mackerel.
