All is it is a bit of manners lad.
Put on or not - farmer didn't know you were there and didn't know you. You never made any attempt to sort that beforehand.
Does your mammy know how she raised you?
It's bad form - end of.
why you trying to mess up the lads thread? i take it you have never entered land unless you have had the land owners permission? irish lurcher sounds like a decent lad, i'm sure he doesn't go around leaving gates open, running cattle and braking fencing ect.
can't give you any advice on price or where as i'am over in ireland, but i use a 6z 100yrds, when buying make sure that it has 100% bagging, that means for every 1yrd there are 2 yrds of net, you probably knew that anyway, atb in finding what your after
Yes, it doesnt do the dogs any harm, they dont suffer food poisoning the same way humans do
thanks moll, i did think that, just thought i would check , that will be me busy mincing the next rainy day
i don't think the car arials are a good idea, wouldn't think they would be strong enough, and when you start to get dirt in the joints it won't be as easy to open and close, hazel poles are the tried and trusted.
i would suggest getting a bait runner aswell, if it was me i would spend 100 on a good reel and the 50 on a rod, will you be static dead baiting? you will need a bite alarm/indicator aswell.
a heat lamp would be the job, when you put it in the kennel make sure it is in the corner, that way if the pup gets to warm there is plenty room for it to move away and cool down.
best of luck with the new pup niall, i feed my 2 cockers on redmills star, rabbit, chicken, liver, sardines in tomato sauce ect, they both do well on it, i would stay away from the tinned dog food. cheers......john
i lived not to far from there (about 2 miles) when i was growing up, i had many a good summer up there fishing and camping at the balgray, ryat and stables dam, it was drained many times when i was younger and i remember the time when there were thousands of perch lying dead around the waters edge, can't remember what the disease was called (maybe whitespot). There was good trout in them aswell due to the small burn that feeds the balgray, lets hope there isn't to much damage done and the fish stocks get back to normal, well done the local lads.
it's funny how this topic has come up, i am after buying one yesterday of the local greyhound lad who getting out the game, €200 is what it cost me, a bargain me thinks.
well useful advice
even mine was more useful that that!!!
i dont have much patience with technology
never mind technology, it sounds like you need to get yourself a sippy cup!!!
true although id be happier with a bottle of beer with a tit on it
why bother with the beer?
seems to be the same old names popping up whenever this lad and his dog is mentioned, if you don't like the lad or his dog then why comment, ffs lads come on it's getting a bit predictable now.
lol, i know mate , i was only pulling your pisser, there are a few web sites that do "nice" collars, but they seem to charge a fair bit, i got mine at a game fair and it only cost €5, good thick leather and does the job.
