  1. There a multi national company are they not ??? you could phone the company they should have tracker devices on there vans they might not tell you who the employee is but if you report it to the police they can check with the company from the tracker system and the driver they can then try the drivers adress to see if the dogs there and if he keeps dogs etc its worth a try pal hope you get the dog back pal best wishes
  2. I havent had less than 2 dogs since i was 11, there is alot more advantages to owning more than 1 dog for example 1 might go lame or have a work related injury ,also its very very rare i buy pups and when i breed my other dogs to replace ageing workers you need to have something to be working while that dog is in pup.i currently have a 4yr old lurcher dog a 6 month old lurcher pup (sister to the lurcher dog was stolen hence the bought pup)and 5 terriers 1 stud dog 9 yrs old ,a dog and 2 bitches working and 1 pup terrier they are all from my own breeding and i dont feel comfortable with that to
  3. Think what the blokes telling you in the above post makes good sense pal,you dont know what you will get turning up posting it on here
  4. Careful you dont end up with a load of idiots turning up pal and dogs grabbing chickens etc
  5. i agree with what this fella has to say makes perfect sense .
  6. Lol what a pair of numptys, sadly we do got them in this game stop pissing in pots in the dog world and go and get yourself some racing pigeons or finchs you clowns.Ill put money on it those accounts will never be used and they will be back on with different names next week trying to sell other genuine world beaters haha
  7. I still think your mistaken with 46mph pal there is no terrier out there that can do that speed thats faster than a whippet a greyhound and a lurcher
  8. How old is your friends bitch ?? And you could still get a young bitch pup now from a decent bloodline and breed it to your border/lakeland if she proves worthy in 2 or 3 years your dog will still be fine to put to stud then i still wouldnt bother will a stafford cross you may have seen some decent workers but ive not seen decent earth dogs with that much bull blood in them the bull/russells you saw they surley were not 1st cross and if they were they have thrown to the russell side,if you mated your dog to a stafford bitch you may end up with a pup that grows up to large to enter an earth.
  9. 46 mph lol jesus pal i think your speedometer was broke if thats clocking 46mph hares and greyhounds only clock in at the 30s your terrier is quicker than my lurchers hahahaha
  10. To the bloke that started this topic i would listen to all the above comments, and i hope you take heed and dont consider this cross its a complete waste of time buy a bitch in from a decent bloodline buck, parkes, gould something on those lines and start something from there but please please dont breed your dog to it because its a loyal companion and a good house dog and sniffs at the entrance to a few rabbit holes, then sell these pups on as coming from 100% working stock and dilute an already diluted gene pool with dogs that simply are not up to the task there is enough folk out there already
  11. hows it going daft lad fancy naming your profile after your dog lol

  12. My 9 year old has been coming with me for 1 or 2 years now, he really enjoys it and is full of questions and retains the information really well, he knows what to look for with runs and dropings and can name most animals we come across, its good for them to get out and enjoy the countryside and good exercise for them i would rather my lad was with me than sat on video games from the moment he gets back from school.
  13. No worries pal ,it was good talking to you and glad ive found out how the bitch was bred i will defo stay in touch chris, i am 100 per cent impressed with her shes coming on a treat ticking all the right boxes so far shes been the best pup ive had to train and i am sure she will continue to do well .
  14. Why dont you post this on the terrier section forum mate, you will probs get a lot more feed back,i wouldnt have any other kind of breed there good solid reliable terriers pal, depends what you want it for i think there more suited to earth work to be fair.
  15. I would agree if there had been current names dropped or current dogs names, or exact locations times dates etc but i see none in any of the replys on here i just see men disscusing a fieldsport topic which sadly has been banned like i said earlier i am not a die hard coursing man and have only had average dogs in this type of fieldsport in the past and i see no harm with me discussing it on here if truth be said if all that is legal in the eyes of the law were disscused on here it would just leave ferreting and ratting and shooting maybe and maybe draghunting so stop getting on your moral hig
  16. I am actualy starting to wonder whos side this chap is on, and this is infact a hunting site for folk to talk about hunting you may enjoy ferreting or ratting we all like abit, but some of us have other interests so why butt in a topic that you clearly dont want to talk about just to jump on the moral highground what are we exactly supposed to talk about on a hunting sight i am keen to hear what you have to say back to that ????
  17. Yeah its illegal to do it but it most certainly is not illegal to talk about it, is it now there is no pictures on here and no present day names mentioned is there did you throw the towel in at the 1st mention of the ban pal, its 1 of the oldest traditional fieldsports in this country as is foxhunting so ill be dammed if i stop talking about it, we still have freedom of speech dont we if you dont like the topic why join in, we are all adults and can do as we please we are by no means breaking the law or bringing anything into disrapute thanks but no thanks for your input
  18. Ive seen a good bitch some bloke i know quite well runs her and is doing well ,shes 2 and a half year old been going at it a few months now bred out off nuttals seagull stuff, and other decent dogs in her make up unsure of the rest so wouldnt like to say for sure but could find out easy enough. I dont know if shes on par with the likes of mac mcullochs Fred,or alwyn pughs Fly or the dark destroyer Lucky, but she is 1 of the best bitchs ive seen run for a year or two, but then again i am not a die hard coursing bloke ive only had average dogs myself as coursing is not my main stay in the field.
  19. As they say its horses for courses, they both have there uses in different fields it all depends on the person and what they want from a dog. A terrier man is not going to choose a saluki/greyhound for his kind of work and a courseing man is not going to choose a heavy bull cross hybrid for his kind of work the same as most serious ferreting men are not gonna choose a huge deerhound/greyhound hybrid for there choice of work so i dont see either type of dog as a whole better than the other they both excel well at what they were bred to do in there type of field thats just my opinion any way lol
  20. Cheers pal nice to meet you
