had my pup vaccinated , and the vets are now giving you a wormer in the puppy pack, before ive always used tablets or panacur, the wormer they gave me was advocate spot on for worms flea etc, i saw no worms the first time i used it, on my second jab she gave me another spot on, this time i saw two large worms ! not happy with the results i got a 3 day panacur and the worms are pouring out,iwont ever trust advocate again

Great thread Just started racing at local shows and really enjoying it, we didnt have a clue about the different types of racing, but are learning fast, and on the hole find them a friendly bunch, we nearly had a non ped, but it wasnt to be as there was only one bitch in the litter ! But we are now the owners of 3 lurchers it gets very addictive our freebee Bitch has now won the coursing twice, but she is never going to win the straight racing ,my 2nd pup was a impulse buy time will tell, but my 3rd pup is a purpose bred , and i look forward to next year with her.The thing i love about

I contacted my vet yesterday about jabbing my gsd bitch to stop her coming in season, ive never done this before, but now we have a little man living in the house i can for see problems, my vet does not recomend the bitch jab as it can upset seasons, and i would like to breed her at a later date. but she did say there is a dog implant that is suposed to be 100 % safe for dogs, its a little price at £45 but it lasts 5 mths, and all the top Zoos are now using it ! If my little man does not prove his self at the racing then at a latter date i will get him castrated in a ideal world i should k

This is Bill picked him up the weekend, not at all what i was looking for but all the same i am sure he will be fine, he is 7 mth bit on the skinny side, but the vet gave him the all clear when he went for his jabs, he is supposed to be grey/saluki x grey/ whippet, but looks a bit small to me to be that cross, I have put him on 4 small meals a day, and he is looking a little better already ,fingers x atb Denise

my Husband broke his back many years ago, so we very often go out at dusk with the car, my young whippet x has learnt to watch out of the window, and then chase from the car , in a ideal world it would be great for hubbie to walk the feilds, but such is life, you have to make the best of it. Denise
