    i say let it settle in a cupel of days then start your basic training recall / retrieveing / sitting and so on get it used to the ferrets at a early age and you should be sound atb jenna

    i personally start them when i think they are mature enough the problem with taking them out to young could start them off yapping through frustration thanks for the reply im not really sure which way i think is right as my first lurcher is only six months but i suppose i can only learn from my mistakes... you can mate your right but just take your time i like a dog to get its own mind before takeing it out working with others as this will stop it picking up bad habits and if you are stuck with anything just ask on here just wait till its older and get the dog used to the ferrets a

    they could have got that off of any dog there . atb jenna They didn't get it from monmouth, the dogs must have already had it but weren't showing symptoms. Kennel cough can take 10 days or more to show symptoms in an infected dog. My point is if they were camped with the lurcherworld crew, dogs drinking from the same bowl etc then the chances are some of the lurcherworld crew will either have it or be carrying it. If these people then attend broadlands with infected dogs then it will be passed on again..... sorry read it all the wrong way atb jenna
