Do you see what your over zealous protection of badgers has done.All these brock that are going to be killed do not have to die,they could be dug out easily,safely and freely by terriermen,innoculated,re-released,re-located if necessary.     I,ve seen both net,stop end ways years back,the Old Fella I go out with Prefers to let them travel,found this to be alot better.I let mine hunt around above and think it helps their nose.Found earths that coudn,t be seen this way,Bankings,in dense gorse etc. Yer when were out with my mates terrier we just let her work on ahead and as you said they find holes what you never knew were there thumbs

    Went out for a wee walk today with terrier in hand got toomy location and let him run on and put a few rabbits out of cover then out of the corner of my eye I see 3 young cubs taking off but frig me them little buggers can shit lol
