    Put surgical spirit on itchy feet it will harden the pads I dont think any creams ect will be much use unless you want to keep them soft like the wifes hands

    I'v taken day time only lads lamping and the same dog that in daytime looks a very good dog has been left looking less than ordinary the look on their faces when the dog is undun is a picture

    Looknorth bbc local news this morning (Any members of the public see hare coursing men with dogs on the side of the road etc )To ring and inform police its been like this all year. I'v got a lot of permision and I still look over my shoulder .

    I'm sure I read somewhere hare can halt their pregnancy and resume when conditions are better but only to a point ie 2 or 3 weeks

    I use my hand but i downloaded a cd of live animals calling squeaking and many fox mating calls cub calls ect works well put it in the car cd player full vol with the doors open.

    I've seen pedigree pups with the Sire being great grandad and grandad and dad and faults do appear eg: shortening of lower jaw and lack of testicles which can in some cases be associated with diabetes.

    how big has he turned out then mate and how much deerhound is in him 1/4 Deer he's 28tts at the moment but I think he's got another 3/4 left to grow yet I hope not but I think the deerhound in him seems dominant and they grow after a year prob to 15-16 months

    Same dog better pic he turned out abit big for me but he's so sensible and he catches well .He's only 13 months I was planning to rehome because of the size but now I dont know I'll see how he is after the summer

    If you have a lot of rabbits it may be worth buying a lamp get her used to running around in the dark with the lamp then when you'r both confident show her some easy bunnies.When a dog is shown a rabbit in the lamp light as close as you can get there's not many dogs that will stand and watch it run away without showing some interest.The more she sees the better the penny will soon drop.Then there will be no stopping her.Good luck whatever you do

    just because a dog wont run at rabbits next to the hedge dont mean they have no prey drive it just means there brainy, why fight a endless battle. we all know that some of them come back in to the field but more of them get through.my dog does it and at times you think stop pissing about and run that beam but it aint that bad because she picks squaters out of the seat just walks to them a dog that runs the beam flat out will be tired quicker than the one that walks so i can live with missing the odd one on the edge just my oppinion exactly, especialy at the end of the season non come b

    I currently have a pup also had his sire which was direct descendant of Merlin and Eve got a list of names hope someone can correct me if I'm wrong trying to put a family tree together got Ballyregan Bob and import saluki - Beanie and Tess - Not quite sure about this sire all I was told was Bob and Ace which we know is from Dels Luke and Swoop. Which produced long haired dog called Fynn. A chap used him over a bitch from Gary C's Joe and have produced the pup I currently have. If anyone can advise me on how to get pic's on here I'll post some!

    Am I right in thinking the merlin line originally started from Geoff/Tony Smith from leicester way? And Eve was from a dog called Blue and the dam Dawn?
