  1. Have a look at the below link. This would be a great little number with a SAK moderator if you are off bunny bashing. http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews98032.html Well priced and you can do all sorts with them depending on you budget.
  2. The RSPCA rank names and rank insignia share similarity with British police ranks, which has led some critics (such as Chris Newman, chairman of the Federation of Companion Animal Societies [21] ) to suggest an attempt to 'adopt' police powers in the public imagination. Against this suggestion it must be remembered that the 'bath star' and 'royal crown' are used in various combinations to identify British military rank, and have therefore been adopted by many organisations in British and Commonwealth nations to indicate ranks. The same series of rank markings are used not only by the RSPC
  3. Thanks matt. As the traps I place are always in 'secure areas' I have never ever considered that, but now I will Demonstrating 'due diligence' would be my only defence in Court if that ever happened and I was being prosecuted. A quick digital photo wouldn't go a miss either. Good comment. Thanks.
  4. Thanks John for pointing that out. I thought for a minute it was my grammar. All of my traps are cable tied up over the weekend so that nothing can get trapped, meaning 'they are deliberately left securely open', as I only do Monday to Friday's, unless there is an emergency. Traps are also pre-baited over the weekend to encourage foxes to feel comfortable in entering for the forth-coming week. Traps will always contain food and are checked at least 3 times a day by myself or preferably by the client who will agree and sign to say this will be done. This is to ensure that non-target
  5. Hello Jamie !!!!! Thats the problem with these web-sites, you never no anyone's real name. Are you still helping BLS out?
  6. If you are in North or East London area, I will be available to dispatch what you catch. Just cable tie the traps up over the weekend. I am available Mon-Fri. Very quiet, discreet and minimum fuss guaranteed.
  7. Thats crazy. I had a Section 5 dispatching pistol in my possession whilst out at work last year without a certificate on me .................. The reason is due to my certificate at the FEO's office having a variation for a rifle being put on it. I always call the Police to inform them of where I am going to be dispatching. Imagine these loonies decided to turn up and check me over at the time ??????? A few checks on you and your registered home address would have put to bed the fact that you are a legal FAC holder. I hope you are going to write into the Chief Constable to comp
  8. Haven't come across any cubs above ground here in London this month, only randy old dog foxes.
  9. You are right. I haven't trapped a healthy looking fox for years in London. The calls usually come in from people concerned over the foxes themselves being mangy, sick and fouling all over the place, especially in schools where the main concern is the health & safety of their pupils and staff. I have forward my FEO a copy of the email to see what he can make of it, in case more follow from the originator and it starts to get personal.
  10. Got an email sent to me via an advertising site. I wouldn't normally pay it much interest apart from when it said 'What goes around comes around'. I have forwarded it to my FEO for reference in case for further harrassment from this individual. It read: "How cruel are you..leave the foxes alone..they do no harm and so what if they go in a garden..you are just making money out of suffering and pathedic..the worse thing you can do is kill foxes..I happen to feed the foxes and their cubs..just money grabbing person..you won't get any luck for it what goes around comes around especiall
  11. Nice work. Especially using a shotgun rather than a high velocity rifle. I've dispatched 9 foxes from one North London school this week and we still have all of next week to go until the treatment concludes. The Site Manager is already pleased as he hasn't had to remove and sh*t from the playgrounds or disnfect the walkways since Monday. Also, the reports of children with fox sh*t on their shoes and hands has also come to a halt since Monday. Its was getting to be a bit of a problem.
  12. Would you believe it, got a call from the same school this morning at 07.00Hrs to tell me there were another 3. This school really has a problem. No wonder the Site Manager was pulling his hair out in desparation due to the amount of sh*t all over the school premises and holes all over the school's football pitch.
  13. Its a disgusting disease and I feel so sorry for them when they are in such a state. The kindest thing to do is put them out of their misery.
  14. Lets now open the floor up and see who has the 'Mangiest Fox Picture'. This is educational for people who think foxes in this state should be just released. They may find their conscious and stop doing it for the fox's welfare and others.
  15. I did my RSPH Level 2 last year as a refresher in London via SX Environmental Supplies. It was a day a week for 8 weeks based in London. Ideal for those who are self-employed. The information sunk in better than trying to cram it into a week. We were privilaged to have ex-ADAS consultant Ed Allan take us through the course which equated to a very high pass rate. SX Environmental run various courses throughout the year and can be contacted on 01702 52 40 40
  16. Below is a pic of one of 3 foxes I dispatched in a North London School this morning. These disease riddled foxes are roaming around the schools causing a real health & safety risk.
  17. Herts Constabulary allowed me a .22lr single shot Pistol for the humane dispatching of foxes in traps. (Only to be used in the course of my duties as a Pest Controller). This means that if i decide to become a web designer, I would have to hand it in. I had to proved to my FEO what I was going to be using it for and he took a 6 page written statement from me to aid my application. Security had to be vastly improved like there was no tommorrow. I prefer my .22lr rifle with sound moderator as is far more discreet and there is always a second shot available if necessary. My pi
  18. I was placing some cage traps in a North London private garden this afternoon and 'charlie' decided to come out, sat in the middle of the lawn to watch what I was doing !!!!! I couldn't believe it. I through it a lump of lamb fat I scavenged from a butchers bin. It went down well !!!! Traps are nicely pre-baited over the weekend. Obviously tamed by a neighbour who feeds it roast dinner's each night, not knowing it then sh*ts in the neighbours garden where the children can't enjoy and play safely. I noticed a patch of mange on its tail so it will be better out of it before it spreads or
  19. I have read that the .220 Swift Rifle cartridge is the fastest commercially available rifle cartridge producing around 4,000 fps. That is just over one second to travel one mile. My question is, does anyone regularly use such a round and if so, what for?
