  1. 1st cross beddy whip IMO or a straight whippet not too big very affectonate around the house will good nose for shooting and ferreting. When it comes to compramise dont! get what you want remember puppies sell it so dont discount any of her idears wait until you have a litter aranged then pop in and look at the pups
  2. dont you worrie if i ge one you will be the first to know wish I had my trophy cam to put by the bins make ya skin crawl make that rat in bradford look like a shrew
  3. Strong stuff are nice bit weighty for pup but after 6months one of his and a bit of string or thin climbing assessory corde £1 per meter get lots of bits as you will lose lots leave a bit in every trouser pocket then you are prepared

  5. hopfully smg and walm or maybe even hot going to see if i can catch some rats out back of restaurant on a rod saw one big as a Jrt las year
  6. with the cold weather about go round any local barns silage clamps rodents make good practice for a young dogs strike and good fun
  7. From experience to date Jrts but am intrested to see how beddies perform. I dont think it matters what you put with your lurcher I think it is about regulary working them together over you permission. This alows the lurcher to posisition itself where it gets used to the rabbit bolting. Like herdwick said he has 4 jrts and with the lurcher they work well on the ground they know even the wize terriers position themselves in a goal hanging position and pick up the goods. so dont be too fussy just get a terrier and get out there and build up the teams confidence oh and have fun
  8. i live right next to/amongst sheep fields and farms mate, and so it just came natural to them really, i just walked through the sheep and growled at the dogs when they were pups, if they so much as gave the sheep a glance, plus i keep poultry and also hawks, so i always had the dogs around stuff, people think salukis are difficult but there not they know whats right and wrong they are easy to manage, plus they are good gaurd dogs, they go ballistic if they hear anything or see anything strange, out our back, all these traits are hard wired into them, and has been for thousands of years, goo
