Considering the propensity of a certain sector of society favouring a certain type of dog IE bull, staff, rott,ETC and their more than lethal attributes one has to wonder whether dogs should be licenced/regulated,see I am just not sure how safe it is having anyone being able to get hold of a lethal canine. hahaha, yea, it wouldc be good if a dog could kill at 200yrds, but sadly it cant.... an airgun won,t kill you at 200 yards and most dogs can out run a man to 200 yards I guess that's why the plod use them to catch people I think you will find plenty of cases where do

surely a wadd would have been pushed out after the shot as a 20bore wadd must be smaller than a 12bore wadd anyway. A 20 bore wont fire in a 12 they fit nicely in the chamber so that you can load a 12 above it then good bye face and hands. As to the barrel at the start of the thread that looks just like the barrel on my bosses gun after a wad from a rotweil cartridge stuck at the start of the choke half way through a partridge drive.

I bet is was more likely a stuck wad. 2 years ago I bought 1000 12g rc sipes 32g 6,s out pigeon shooting I reloaded but it sounded strange as the cartridges went in checking there was a 20g rc 32g sipe I have never bought or owned a 20 bore or 20 bore cartridges, RC denied it was their fault but I ain't never bought them again.

THINK YOU WILL FIND THEY HAVE TO RING THE POLICE AND PROVIDE EVIDENCE OF THE DOG WORRYING FIRST BEFORE PULLING THE TRIGER,IF THEY SHOOT FIRST THEN ASK QUESTIONS LATER THEN THERE GOING TO HAVE SOME ANSWERING TO DO TO THE OLD BILL... IF THE DOG IS WORRYING SHEEP THEN SHAME ON THE OWNER...ALLWAYS A CASE OF ACTIONS AND CONSEQUENCES AMSE9 By law it is only required that the owner of the livestock informs the police within 48 hours of shooting the dog it would then be up to the owner to file a complaint of criminal damage to which the livestock owner would have a legal defence you woul

For fecks sake how many of you have had your dogs shot NONE and it is more than likely to be a shepherd than any keeper who shoots a dog. when I have stopped lads I never mention shooting their dog it ain't the dogs fault I front up to them and it goes one of 2 ways I get the kicking or he does and that's an end to it but I have to say I ain't ever stopped someone walking where they are entitled to no mater what breed of dog they own.

danw replied to anthonytomo's topic in Gamekeeping, Conservation & Shoot Management
Those Posh people you are on about are likely to be employing you in the future! If they see that attitude you wont last long ?? Maybe a career re-think. spot on those posh people have kept me very well for a lot of years now -

Just how do you come to that conclusion? beam comes on and a bullx runs up and tries to eat you or beam comes on and you hear a bang but nothing else happens.

When you consider that trained gundogs are worth £2k plus then what is £400 for a kennel? Mine are in purpose built kennels with a proper feed room hot/cold water heating in all kennels purpose built whelping kennel, lights in all the kennels, CCTV in the whelping kennel and all the runs. I expect my dogs to work hard and from me they should expect the best living conditions and feed and it is the least I can do.

Farmers should hate the fuckwits in charge instead. they do, easier to cull the badger though than to cull the fuckwits in charge with a bit of luck all these cuts the government are making they may get rid of some of the fuckwits

Nobody in their right mind would use snares as a means to live catch badgers as any one who has accidentally caught a badger in one would agree.Cage traps would be the correct course of action and this is how the cull in wales was due to be conducted live caught in cages then dispatched. well like i said, it was a top tele vet an he was called in to help with the drawing up of the plans Just shows how good they are then a badger goes mental in a snare they can even break the wire and go on with the noose still attached that is in no way humane but then most of these pricks know

Aye but was it ready 3 weeks ago? Cant cut every field at once you know Spot on and just cause it looks ready it don't mean the moisture content is correct. good prices for wheat mean nothing if you spend £50 a ton drying it.

It is worth a lot more dry and in the store than rotting in the field
