    Not sure if he sources stocks from richards but I have to say even if I got a stock from them no way could I finish or for that fit the ebony caps the only thing I can manage with wood is putting it in the log burner

    Not wanting to start an argument at all but if the dickhead element of the lurcher world didn't f**k it up for every one else then their wouldn't be a reason to shoot them most lads respect the land and its animals but you know as well as I that their is a small minority who just don't give a f**k and it's those lads as spoil it and force the landowners to act.

    To be honest it really depends on the cocker so many have been bred too small in my opinion and they just can't handle a full days work as ever it is about picking your dog from a good working line, many with a lot of ftch in the pedigree are just 20 minute wonders and it is worth taking the time to buy in the right dog as some will disappoint.If it where my choice it would be a cocker all the way springers just have no soul that said after 20 years of working and breeeding cockers I could be just a little kennel blind

    I can believe that when the dangerous animals act came in 1976 then some animals may have been released but to believe that they are alive and well some 34 years later is a bit much.

    The bailiff is long since dead he sorted it for me to work on the keepers rearing field turned out he was a fair man. Minds't that salt itched for about 6 weeks

    I know a lad as got shot with a salt cartridge by a bailiff on a trout stream in yorkshire 2 nights later he dropped 3 bag of lime in the head of the stream and killed every fish for about 2 miles
